absolutely perfect spot for our overnight for Alton towers, disappointed we hadnt arrived earlier to enjoy it for longer but it was everything we needed, clean and well appointed and thanks for the welcome biscuits the kids demolished them!

Great cottage in a great location for accessing walks and for the town. Brough park behind the cottage was brilliant for us with a dog. Sarah was responsive to requests and organised with sending instructions. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful little cottage. The garden is a little oasis of calm and we felt like we were in paradise. Had a lovely weekend relaxing and exploring g the area which is just like the Cotswolda. we will definitely be returning

This place is probably one of the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The place is beautiful, with lovely farmyard animals nearby and stunning view. The place is immaculate and so well catered for. The beds were very comfy and luxurious furniture. We were staying due to my brother wedding nearby and Lorna was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Honestly a real gem of a place to stay. Garden Nook is a beautiful accommodation in a peaceful setting. Lisa and Paul thought of all the personalised touches. The Garden Nook was impecabily clean and we were made to feel extremely welcome. We hope to be back in the future and would highly recommend.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. We were attending a local wedding and Sue’s place was just perfect! It’s amazingly presented, spotlessly clean and the breakfast provisions, chocolates & lollies etc were all just unexpected bonuses. Sue was very helpful and friendly. If we return again we’ll definitely stay there again.

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. We had a great stay at Ladybird apartment which suited us perfectly for going to a wedding nearby. The outside space looked great but we didn’t use it due to being out most of the time, and the apartment had everything we needed. Thank you Richard, good to meet you.

She communicated all the way from the moment of our booking to the end of our stay. Location is perfect, snuck away from Dronfield Town, but close enough to walk to the many signposted country walks and local pubs/eateries. Short drive, train or bus to Chesterfield and easy commute to Sheffield. Lots of walkable trains and buses. Easy drive (and public transport available too) to the many scenic attractions in Derbyshire. Walkable Convenience Store and gas station is just a minute away.

Excellent accommodation, location and hospitality. Just surprised that there was no microwave oven.

We loved our stay here, very private and peaceful. Plenty of room, it’s got everything you need and looks onto a beautiful garden. Also very handy to walk into Hale village. Thanks Yvonne for a wonderful stay!

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

I have nothing but good things to say about Scott as a host, and his flat is lovely. He was super fast in response time to questions and really helpful with everything. Very clear instructions and it was easy to find the place and get in. Nice and quiet. The odd rumble of a train didn't disturb the peace at all. Fast internet. Plenty of crockery/cutlery/pans etc. Note that there is no toaster so if you want toast you need to use the grill. Also the mattress is very soft and springy, which is great if that is your preference, but if you prefer a firm mattress you may not like it. Personal preference that one of course. The flat has a wonderful bohemian feel about it, and interesting books to read. I may have to stay again, and for longer, to read more of them! Definitely recommend staying here. Nice sitting outside listening to the stream flowing by. Thank you Scott ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.

We had a slight issue with the bathroom prior to check-in but Khateeb responded excellently resolving the issue with pace and transparency. Great location, lovely flat

This is a little gem. Felt very private and yet hosts were just next door and really helpful. Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance, and really well equipped accommodation. Fresh decor & lovely and clean . Lots to do nearby, on the edge of the peak district and yet really convenient for transport link, including the airport. We felt very lucky to have found this at relatively short notice!

Great hosts and a lovely apartment. We really enjoyed the rooftop garden and basement communal space. Really close to the supermarket and train station.
