Had a lovely stay with Carol and Geoff. They are very welcoming hosts and the bed is comfortable and the bedroom wonderfully quiet and dark. Such a treat to have fresh fruit from their garden too. Highly recommended!

We loved our brief stay at Colin and Aitu's place! The setting is so peaceful and we could not have felt more comfortable after a day of fun on Waiheke. The rooms are spacious, plush, and super clean. Breakfast was delicious (amazing fruit!) and we would have loved a longer stay. We would love to visit again and recommend a stay here.

Carol is a super lovely host, made us feel so comfortable and gave us local recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and home was pristine - Highly recommend!

We stayed at Karens place for two nights. Nice location in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful backyard and gardens. Karen was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and tidy, had everything we needed and had nice comfortable beds too. I would definitely recommend Karens place to all.

Gavin and Petra were extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. They made us feel very comfortable at their home, which is beautiful, clean and tidy. The home grown fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee and homemade museli for breakfast was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely house, lovely cats, lovely couple.

We stayed at Paul’s place for two nights and it was a home away from home. Paul was very friendly and welcoming and let us use the mountain bikes to go around the lakeside and town centre. The room was clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend!!

This was my second stay with Karen. I'm a solo, senior female and her space is ideal. Clean, cozy, perfectly situated and very reasonable. And Karen is a great host. Highly recommend it for a solo female traveller.

We did not meet the hosts who were unexpectedly away and were redirected to Bird Cottage at no extra cost. Communication was great, the cottage ( a renovated old schoolhouse) was spacious,very peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed. Clean and comfortable and light breakfast provided. Beautiful outlook and a great spot to break a long journey

I love this place; both Gary & Penny's sweeeet home and beautiful Taupo! Though weather wasn't good, warm hospitality made my honeymoon the best of best; Room was clean with dedicated bathroom & bedroom, a wonderfull shared spaces with everything. Surely it's better option to take Gary & Penny's home rather than other hotels nearby Taupo downtown. Wish all the best to Gary & Penny!!😍❤️👍👍👍

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

Can’t say enough positive things about this stay! From the moment I arrived Karen and Nigel made me feel like family, welcoming me with a smile, and offering a homemade dinner! Lovely conversation and two individuals who bring a smile to your face. The bed was incredibly comfy, the bathroom spotless, the breakfast in the morning a great touch as well as the gym and spa. Was incredible to feel like I was at home and to spend the night conversing with Nigel and Karen and learning more about NZ! Do yourself a favor and if you’re in the West coast, stay here!

Trish & Don were lovely hosts! So easy to communicate with, flexible and understanding when it came to check in. The place was spotless when we arrived. I am very grateful my partner and I got to stay in a private peaceful cottage for our special occasion. The area was also beautiful. Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!
