Guesthouse vacation rentals in New River Valley

Place was exactly as described and was perfect for our weekend visit with family in Blacksburg. Had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the mountains.

Joe and Debra are both so kind! We've stayed with them twice- once for a long (3 month) stay and once for a weekend, and both were great! They are very considerate and offered to help us several times because of the snow this weekend. I'd always highly recommend a stay at Tiki Joe's because it's comfortable, unique, and nearby some really cool little spots off the beaten track!

Giulia has a very nice apartment that was clean with plenty of room. Although close to town, there is a remote feel as the house is surrounded by woods - a definite plus for me.

Shirleyann is a friendly and welcoming host with a quiet and peaceful property 10 minutes from downtown Floyd. The BnB is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, including yummy breakfast foods in the fridge. We look forward to staying there again.

The unit was very clean and the reservation and check in process were simple. The location was very scenic and private yet close and convenient to everything in the area. We will certainly be back.

Semper Fi Farms proved to be an absolutely wonderful experience! Shannon and Tim are simply amazing people who made us feel welcome and like family. One of our party (11M) was able to “help” Ms. Shannon during lambing and was completely enthralled with having been able to hold a newborn lamb, it was an experience he will never forget! The too short “guys weekend” that we enjoyed was made even better by having the honor of sharing some “no kidding, there I was…” stories with an amazing Marine! The thoughtfulness and kindness of Shannon and Tim, make an utterly beautiful location into a truly remarkable visit. The pictures and stories of my trip have inspired my wife to inform me that she WILL be joining the next trip to Semper Fi Farms, and I can’t think of anything to recommend a visit more!

Very good attention to thoughtful detail, eg snacks, tea, coffee, shampoo, hand cream, towels, bedding choices. Decor was creative and fresh. Attentive host.

We had a great time here. Mr. Frost was a great host. The property is amazing, quiet, and peaceful. If you need to escape the rush of life here is the place. The rental was clean and fun. A million stars at night if you are a stargazer. We will definitely be back.

Everything was as described, clean, great location, and friendly host (and dog). The sleeping spaces are private, however they don’t have doors (though partitions are available). Probably not an issue for most travelers, but those with adventurous toddlers who require a door might want the heads up.

Ed was a great host with great energy about him. Very accommodating and resourceful all the way from booking.

My fiancé and I booked this stay as a birthday getaway and was not disappointed! Beautiful space in private location with a spectacular view of pastures and mountains. The home was cleaned spotless and had everything you needed to feel right at home. Samuel and Natasha were amazing host, very responsive and flexible with the check-in time as we were traveling a far distance. If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate! Thank you again!

This was our second stay at Lynn's place to visit our VT student within the year. We came back because the space is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and allows us space away from the hustle and bustle of Blacksburg and Christiansburg, while still being close enough! Bonus, if you've forgotten ANYTHING (because it is a bit off the beaten path), Lynn has thought of it and has you covered! Lynn is incredibly responsive and truly wants to make sure her guests have the best visit. We will keep coming back :)

We had a great trip! Walley’s place was off of the beaten path and her and her family were so welcoming and hospitable. The property is rustic and is not for those who are city lovers but it was perfect for us.

Megan and Joel were great hosts, responsive, accommodating, and their place had many amenities. Clean, quiet, peaceful, and perfect for our 1 night stay.
