Stayed at Rainbow’s End for 3 nights with my 9-year old daughter. Sue was responsive and friendly and the place was easy to find. Inside was nice and clean and had all of the things you need for a short break. As there is no oven/hob, we used the air fryer and hot plate (which was a little fiddly to get the right temperature). Shower was nice and the double bed was super comfortable. Sofa bed (as with most sofa beds) was not amazingly comfortable but ok for a few nights. Lovely surroundings, with open fields, pygmy goats, lots of lovely dogs (both Sue’s and visitors using a very popular dog training field). Was perfect for our needs and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Jersey Cottage - Charming Coastal Getaway

3 couples booked to stay, which was comfortable with a 4th bedroom that we didn't need but would have accommodated two more people. This property is over three floors, so you do need to be able to cope with stairs, maybe unsuitable for small children. We loved it beautifully and tastefully decorated. Quiet despite one of the bedrooms facing Market Hill (this is quite steep so again you need an element of fitness ) really good night's sleep. Kitchen/dining room very well catered for, plenty of room to all sit around the table. Lounge cozy, not sure 8 would have been comfortable, but again ample for us. Good wifi & Marie was always helpful and got back to us very quickly she was compasionate regarding check in and check out due to stormy weather which we really appreciated. A really lovely stay and we hope to return with other friends at some point.

We had a great stay at Robert and Lucia’s place. The house was spacious, quiet and comfortable, and suited our family of 5 perfectly. Lucia was extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat in the area and also helped promptly with a minor setback. We really enjoyed Ashley Cross, and exploring the wider area of Poole and Bournemouth, and would happily return. Thank you Lucia and Robert!

This Airbnb was lovely. The Yurt looks exactly like the pictures and everything was laid out/decorated perfectly. The place is extremely cosy and considering it was Feb we didn’t struggle to keep warm with the fire going. It has everything you’d need for a stay and the host was super helpful and responsive. I can imagine that the outdoor area would be lovely in the summer too.

Waterfront Lodge With Log Burner - Club Casita

We had a wonderful stay at Club Casita, the view over Stanpit marshes is stunning, in January, you see the sun rise by the Isle of Wight travel over Hengistbury Head and set within the window viewport, and the wide variety of birdlife is beautiful to watch, like an animated painting. The lodge was very warm and cosy and had everything we needed, even a whirlpool bath! A freezer would have been useful for our longer stay but we managed fine without it. The beds were very comfy. Ample parking for 2 cars. It is a short (< 10 mins), flat walk along a picturesque riverside path to Christchurch where there is an M&S for groceries, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Our hosts, Candice and Dan were lovely and gave us a very warm welcome with a breakfast basket, festive decorations and a bottle of wine, and were very responsive to messages. Would definitely recommend Club Casita to family and friends!

We stayed here as a group of friends. The house was perfect, plenty of room for us all. We loved the inside/outside layout, enjoyed cooking on the BBQ and lighting the outside fire in the evenings. Five minutes walk into town. Tristan was helpful and quick to respond. All good!

We stayed here for a couple of nights before my birthday and absolutely loved it. The location is beautiful, with secure off-road parking and everything was spotless. The bed was super comfortable, the place is really stylish, and it’s an easy walk to a lovely pub and a great little tea room. Loads of brilliant walks nearby too. Clear instructions and a smooth stay – highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our 1-night stay at Mountain View. The yurt was spotless with pristine bed linen and really comfy beds. Toilet and shower felt clean and well kept and shower was surprisingly warm and powerful. The goats, deer and horses were the icing on the cake for my 3 and 6yo’s. And the go karts also a real hit! It’s surprising/lovely how children will find creative ways to have fun outdoors and without screens. Recommend taking ear plugs in case you end up with noisy neighbours turning up late like we did 🤪 But hey, that’s camping. We will definitely be back! xx
