Fully furnished, kid friendly, 3 bdrm home!

GraceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy driving access to White Sands National Park, Three Rivers Petroglyph Site, and other local attractions. The house was exactly as described in the listing, and we found it clean and comfortable. One of the highlights was the thoughtful amenities provided. It really made our stay more enjoyable. Pro tip for anyone visiting White Sands National Park: check the garage! We were thrilled to find sleds and wax left by previous guests, which saved us from having to purchase them. We appreciated the convenience and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to other families looking for a comfortable base to explore the region.

This Airbnb was perfect and cozy. It had lots of amenities with clear instructions. She also allowed us to check in early which was great. She was very quick with responses as well. She had toiletries for us in the bathroom, which included toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, soap, etc. Overall, this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend!

Hot Tub Getaway, home away from home

Rose AnneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband said "I like this house" more times than I can count! The furnishings & decor were perfect- just what's needed functionally & aesthetically with still plenty of space. Beds & couches were very comfortable! Hot tub has great views of Sandia Mountains, or the living room TV, or the sky full of stars. Treadmill is heavy duty yet very quiet! Backyard is so cute with perfectly placed swing & adirondacks with a firepit. Master balcony was perfect for sunrise coffee or sunset wine. A few things here & there need minor maintenance (vertical blinds, towel rack, TP holder) but considering how nice everything else was, those didn't bother us. We'd definitely stay again!

Winsor Castle & Ski Retreat- 15 min to TSV or town

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a really special and unique house. It worked out very well for our group of two families with young kids. The location felt very remote and the drive up would not be for the faint of heart in bad weather, but the views were beautiful. It was about equidistant to going to the mountain for skiing and into town, which made it convenient. Kitchen was very well equipped as well. Overall would definitely recommend!

Villa Califa. Relax, Recharge, and Rebound.

RobertRating, 5 stars1 day ago
David's place was perfect. It was in a nice neighborhood. The place was clean, quiet, and our pets felt right at home. We like to cook and we've never stayed in an Airbnb that was equipped with everything we needed to cook gourmet meals. Even the pantry was stocked with items we never see in most rentals. We have a motto that says "We will leave a place in better shape than we found it" That motto was hard to keep since the home was in such good shape. Thank you David

Casa de Lissa - Santa Fe Delight

RebekahRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Lissa’s place was perfect for our low-key bachelorette weekend! There are a ton of beds, which made sleeping arrangements super comfortable for the 7 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the living room and dining area were cozy for hanging out. The home has some beautiful features. The outdoor space was peaceful, though we didn’t spend much time outside in the yard. Lissa left a ton of great recommendations (and goodies!) and was easy to communicate with. This is definitely her home, but we appreciated the lived-in feel (so many airbnbs have a similar look and can feel a little sterile). We really enjoyed our stay and are so grateful to Lissa for hosting us!

It is 10 minutes into Santa Fe, but at night there is literally zero sound and great stargazing from the jacuzzi. Would 10/10 recommend and will forsure be coming back!

Sterlings cabin was perfect for our girls spa weekend getaway. We loved the space and surroundings, and the cabin was super cute and comfortable. Close to ojo caliente, and if we stayed longer we would've spent a day in Santa Fe which was a 20-25 min drive. We will definitely be back!

Pet-Friendly, 2-Bedroom, Ski Resort Condo!

HolliRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved this condo! Super cozy cabin vibe. Extremely close to the shuttle route for walking in ski boots or very walkable to the base area in regular shoes. Giant kitchen island was perfect for a family dinner buffet. We cooked most meals for 5 nights with 5 people and found everything we needed in the kitchen. A dishwasher and upgraded laundry would be wonderful, but we still loved the condo and highly recommend the home owner as well. Thank you for having us! The skiing was awesome too!

The Safari Cottage

TippiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jenn was a GREAT HOST!!! :) She always responded to any need, question, or concern with a POSITIVE and HELPFUL approach, backed by a CHEERFUL demeanor! :) As for the interior of her home....It had an EXOTIC SAFARI MOTIF, which seemed to whisk you away to the WILDS OF AFRICA the minute you stepped inside! :) I particularly LOVED all the zebras, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos which were featured in various areas/rooms throughout her home! I even loved catching glimpses of angel sculptures, etc which were intermingled amongst vintage/one-of-a-kind furniture pieces and decorative items - all of which coordinated with each other in one way or another. A FAVE for me was the Cleopatra chaise lounge - EYE CATCHING, GORGEOUS, AND COMFY!!! BEDS were INCREDIBLY COMFY, TOO!!! Last but not least, grocery and other various retail stores, along with many fast food chains, plus upbeat table service restaurants - were just a hop and a skip away! Enjoy your stay in this BEAUTIFUL HOME!!!

Your guide to New Mexico

All About New Mexico

New Mexico, known as the Land of Enchantment, possesses a powerful draw for artists and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The western state is home to awe-inspiring desert landscapes, adobe-walled ruins, snow-peaked mountains, big-city amenities in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and small artist communities like Taos. In the south, you’ll be inspired by dazzling skies, snow-like sand drifts, and the Rio Grande’s blue waters. Wild caves, deep gorges, mineral springs, and soaring mountains offer hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and the opportunity to soak in healing mineral springs. Turn down one of Albuquerque’s cobblestone alleyways and discover hidden patios, the smell of roasting chilis, and isolated churches.

Santa Fe has adobe monuments, world-class museums, Native American galleries, and gourmet restaurants. Artist towns like Taos and the curiously named Truth or Consequences continue New Mexico’s creative heritage, from turquoise jewelry-making to folk art. Events like the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow introduce visitors to ancient rituals and ceremonial dances among ancestral ruins and settlements — a reminder of the state’s many Indigenous people, such as the Navajo and Pueblo. Diverse communities offer a unique blend of cuisines, cultures, and languages throughout the state.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in New Mexico

New Mexico's weather is as varied as its landscape, with the largest temperature range of any state in the country. This is mainly due to elevation change between the north's high mountain ranges and the south's low-lying basins and desert plains. Spring is a great time of year to experience the national parks without the usual crowds when the weather is mild, and cabins in New Mexico are more abundant. New Mexico sees low rainfall and mild humidity throughout the year, and summers can get extremely warm. With skiers and snowboarders descending upon the mountains in the north during the winter months, New Mexico cabin vacation rentals tend to be more expensive this time of year. Visit between September and December, and you'll be treated to pleasant weather and the annual Albuquerque Balloon Festival.

Top things to do in New Mexico

Petroglyph National Monument

Approximately 20,000 petroglyphs can be found throughout the 7,244-acre park. The images were carved into the basalt escarpment by Indigenous peoples and Spanish settlers hundreds of years ago. Three main hiking trails can be found in the park, the easiest being Boca Negra Canyon, with over 100 petroglyphs viewable from the trail. The monument is managed jointly by the City of Albuquerque and the National Park Service to preserve the culturally significant site.

Bike Albuquerque

Spanning 200 square miles, Albuquerque is a paradise for cyclists. Dozens of lanes crisscross the city, connecting laidback neighborhoods with downtown along stretches of former Route 66. Travel along the Paseo del Bosque River Trail, or cycle to the filming locations of a famous Albuquerque-based TV show and the plethora of local breweries and wineries.

White Sands National Monument

Miles from the ocean and nearest river, White Sands National Monument is a desert playground. Gleaming white gypsum sand is formed into extraordinary sand dunes up to 60 feet tall. Set up a picnic amongst the haunting, snow-like sandscape or glide down the white dunes — the park store even rents out round saucers for doing just that. Explore the vast landscape with a drive around the 16-mile Dunes Drive, taking time to stop along the way to explore the hiking trails, picnic areas, and exhibits.
