Yurt vacation rentals in New Mexico

This is our second time staying in Stacy’s yurt and it very much works for our family of 4 with dog. We camp a lot so feel very comfortable with any rustic parts of the yurt. And the view and stars are lovely!

Awesome stay! A great little spot that's like camping but still has lots of amenities. Well worth it over a hotel room or condo.

Id like to say thank you to Ellen for hosting us, The little John Yurt was an amazing stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice cozy little spot with everything one needs, while there is not electricity on site there is a gas powered lantern which worked wonderfully, the wood stove kept us tosty at night & the cook stove did its job making us coffee in the morning. Increadibly peaceful surroundings with amazing views. The walk in is about 1.25 miles along a nicely graded logging road, I think most anyone could easily make the walk, even children. To sum it up, we enjoyed our stay and I the wife and I will be back next time were in town. Thanks, Ellen!

The yurt was exactly as described! We got there after dark and we easily found the yurt after following Ellen's very detailed instructions. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This was a great stay, and a unique find! We received about a foot of spring snow, and our host was gracious and had everything warmed up for our arrival. The space was awesome, and it’s tucked in the east mountains with plenty of open space. Beautiful property!

This was a fabulous place to stay for us! We were in town visiting family that lives nearby and it was perfect for 3 adults. Bob was most helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. The yurt was off the beaten path, but very easy to find with Apple Maps, about 30 minutes from ABQ airport. They had everything we needed for our stay- all the basic amenities were available. The views from the outdoor seating area were great- we were able to watch the sunrise over the mountains each morning, followed by a steam in the sauna. Our days were spent hiking the nearby trails, and it was a short drive to the Sandia Mountains- a MUST SEE for the views! There are some gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants within about a 15 minute drive, but you are at the base of the mountains, so options are limited- something to keep in mind depending on what you're visiting for. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely keep this spot in mind when we come back!

Yurta with everything you need for a pleasant stay in the mountains. We slept amazingly, the bed is very comfortable and the bed linen of very good quality, pure cotton. Thank you for that. Well located. Pamela had many beautiful details that made the difference. Fresh eggs, delicious brownies and responded quickly. We will stay again without a doubt! Thank you Pamela!

This remote land is magic and the most quiet place I’ve ever experienced. A phenomenal retreat for those returning to center. We are privileged to get to experience the place.

This was the first time for us to stay in a yurt... what a unique experience! There was a kitchen area fully stocked and plenty of places to relax. The deck area has some pretty views. The bathroom has a unique design. It was a peaceful night of relaxation and sleep.
