Family-friendly vacation rentals in New Mexico

Leaping Deer Ranch had the most remarkable amenities of any place our family has ever stayed (and we’ve stayed at some incredible places.). Colin was so responsive and helpful, yet out of the way during our stay. The people on staff were amazing as well! The ranch is stunningly beautiful and worth every single penny. My only regret is that we would have stayed longer and explored the property more! We hope to be back another time.

Vivian’s space and land were exquisite in every way, inside and out, were serene, private, artistic, and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous with gardens, statues, sculptures, walkways, etc. The night sky from the hot tub was amazing. The inside space was super comfy and so peaceful. Vivien provided so many amenities that were thoughtful from robes and slippers for the hot tub to delicious snacks and fresh ground coffee. There was complete privacy. We felt that for the 5 days we were there, we were on a sacred retreat. The neighborhood was so quiet and only 10 min to town. Vivien made wonderful recommendations for food, hikes, and things to do. This was our favorite Airbnb by far and we plan to return. Thank you, Vivien!

What a beautiful casita! We had the most wonderful few days at Tara and Jean Jacques place. It was perfect, from the hot tub with the peaceful and scenic views to the rain head shower, to the scones and fresh orange juice in the kitchen. After camping for a week this place was so luxurious and I’d love to come back. Walkable distance into town with an abundance of nature and privacy.

This place was so amazing that I booked another stay while we were still there. Everything was clean and had so much beautiful character. We were centrally located so shopping, food, and museums were within walking distance. Leslie was so kind and always available to answer questions.

Such a wholesome and beautiful stay! Both Talia and Bill are such creative people and have made a space that encourages that-it was so relaxing, but also so much fun to be right in the sage brush country while only a 20 min drive to Santa Fe. Will be staying here next time we’re back!

Lovely home near Taos Ski Valley that is exactly as described in the listing. The home is spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and there were thoughtful touches throughout. The location is perfect for a quick drive to Taos Ski Valley and into town for dinner. We will definitely stay again our next trip out.

We had a wonderful stay at Thom's place. Perfect location close enough to town and the hiking trails in the Taos Ski Valley. Everything from the hot tub, to the grill, to the wifi, TV and board games were in great working order. Thom was responsive and we'd definitely consider staying at his place again.

Amazing place and Gabriele is a very kind and responsive host. I would stay in this location again.

Clean, comfortable home, nice for a family traveling with a small dog. Neighborhood felt safe. Easy to get in and out, and garage parking is available

This is our second time staying in Stacy’s yurt and it very much works for our family of 4 with dog. We camp a lot so feel very comfortable with any rustic parts of the yurt. And the view and stars are lovely!

As cross-country cyclists, this house in Hillsboro was perfectly situated for a relaxing two day stay after the ride up and over Emory Pass. It was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I’d stay here again!

One of my all-time favorite Airbnbs, without a doubt. There's clearly a reason why half of Taos valley is living in/working on an Earthship — Reynolds was definitely onto something!

Wendy’s place was close to our family making it very convenient! Lake view was great! We will stay here next year!

Gorgeous spot on the river. Screened in porch is lovely. Great bird watching and star gazing. We felt very lucky to be there for the weekend.

Total dreamscape! This space is so peaceful, private and roomy. Ben is a super sweet guy and excellent host. Don't pass up a chance to stay at his place!

This is a beautiful home with gorgeous views. It was comfortable for our family of 8. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in and three full baths accompanied everyone. The house was clean and had what we needed to make meals in the kitchen. You’ll need to pick up some storage containers if you have left overs since it was the only thing we needed and didn’t have. Easy fix ☺️

Ed and Barbara was and is such a blessing. The community here is very therapeutic, even the dogs. This is definitely one of those places that if you could then you would come back over and over again. Barbara will make you feel right at home, so have fun if you dare; you might not want to go home. Nice pool, jacuzzi, lots of of space to feel free and to let loose and be loud. If you're into art sculptures then you have a lot to look at, because this place is filled with the enchanting art work by Ed. This experience will leave an everlasting impression on you. We had a great time! I didn't get to personally meet the host but my friends who did absolutely raved about them. Beautiful place, so serene. loved the layout. The fresh eggs were chefs kiss! Would definitely stay here again.

WE love this little place and the complex. This is our second stay here. Convenient skiing, lots of shops in Taos, great music venues. good restaurants. What more could you want!

It's a beautiful place in Tesuque! It's quiet, peaceful, and in an ideal location outside of Santa Fe. The area is walkable and has incredible views of mountains and foothills. Loved the coffee table drum and the traditional New Mexico style of home.

This home is incredible! The location is private and quiet in Teseque but just a short drive to the Santa Fe Plaza. The home features a wall of windows/doors opening up onto an expansive patio with gorgeous mountain views. It is tastefully decorated with luxury touches. The kitchen was chock-full of anything you need. The floorplan is ideal for two couples or parent/kiddos. The host was very helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

This place felt like home. It was cozy and peaceful. My favorite part about staying here was the location. It was on the river and walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.
