This was my 5th or 6th stay in Margaret's apartment. It is ideal for me - the right mix between quiet location and good connection. The apartment is tastefully and functionally furnished, Margarete is very friendly and proactive without being intrusive. I would be happy to come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, with clear instructions provided by the host, making it stress-free to settle in. The beds were incredibly comfortable—I slept like a dream! It’s clear that the host prioritizes guest comfort, as the linens were soft, and the pillows were just right. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, with fresh towels and toiletries provided. What truly stood out was the host’s helpfulness. Christian was responsive, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a lovely stay. Nice sitting on the bench in the sun, breakfasts in the conservatory, after dinner on a sofa. The only thing I would want is an oven in the kitchen.

Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

Banu’s place was great for our trip to Cologne… would definitely stay again, all the essentials are readily available and a nice comfortable couch to watch movies on. The area itself is extremely quiet and there’s a nice park with bike/walking paths directly in front of the river… right across the street from the apartment.

There were five of us in the house. Four spacious rooms for sleeping and a large living-dining area on two levels offered plenty of space to feel comfortable. There was nothing missing, neither in the kitchen nor in the bathrooms. Even spices were available. The pretty garden and terrace invited you to linger. The communication was very good. Always happy 😊

Really kind host, amazing place to stay.

We were there with a group of teenagers and young adults and felt very comfortable right from the beginning! The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished; the furnishings are perfectly designed for large groups. The garden/terrace is also great.

I had an amazing time staying at Michael’s place in Köln, Germany. The design of the flat is outstanding, and the attention to detail is remarkable. Michael was a fantastic host, and for the first time in my experience, I met such a caring host who prepared a fully stocked fridge with drinks, alcohol, and snacks—bravo for that! I felt truly welcomed and it made my stay even more special. Everything was incredibly well-organized, making my experience even more enjoyable. Many people say that where you sleep isn’t important, that they just need a bed. But I disagree - it’s the place where you stay that makes the entire experience special. Michael’s place made my trip extra special - offering convenience, aesthetic pleasure and a truly comfortable environment. I was so impressed that I’m already looking to book for next year! Thank you, Michael! This was a 5-star++ experience!

From the moment we contacted Umit, he was very responsive and helpful. The unit is exactly as pictured in a quiet part of Dusseldorf. Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Light rail is a short walk away which gets you into the city centre.

The apartment was super nicely decorated, cozy and very clean, the hostess super sweet and always available. The neighbors were very quiet and friendly, you didn't hear any noise from the outside. Everything was great.

Friendly host, gives you all the necessary information, offers further information if necessary, inquires if everything is okay, and is at the same time pleasantly reserved (doesn't annoy, but you know if something should be, he takes care of it). Check-in is very easy and attention is paid to details in the furnishing and preparation of the apartment, we enjoyed it very much. The bed was a little short for my relatively large partner, but we could have seen that from the photos beforehand. Location and views are of course super nice. We would book again.

Stayed at Carina to go to Messe it was great!

So was a very responsive host. Prior to check in and throughout the stay, so kept in touch to make sure we arrived ok, had what we needed, and answered any questions I had. The space was nice and worked well with our family of 8. The space was extremely clean and well maintained. I appreciated that there was coffee, sugar and creamer in the cabinet. I am not sure that is always there, but it was nice to have it for the morning. Beds were comfortable. We had a very nice stay and would recommend this airbnb.

Dilek is a wonderful host. She was very friendly and responsive to our queries. Her home was very clean, warm and cozy. We stayed there for a week and didn’t had any issue whatsoever. They had very big hall with comfortable sofa. They have very well equipped kitchen with all the necessary things one needs. If we come to Duisberg we will definitely love to stay again.
