It is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. 4 km from the center of Bad Bentheim and 4 km from the Dutch border, you can start directly on the sandstone route from here. Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. In the middle of the historic old town, a quiet, lovingly renovated apartment awaits you. Just “a stone's throw away” is the Wasserschloss with Bagno Park and the historic market square with cozy restaurants. From Burgsteinfurt you can relax and explore the entire Münsterland. The 65-square-meter (700-square-foot) apartment was renovated in 2025 and is fully equipped with underfloor heating. Working from the apartment is no problem-free thanks to the fast internet.
