Black River Refuge on the Water

The first guest comment I hear is "Wow - pictures don't do this place justice - the house is incredible and the views are spectacular! The next comment is "I thought we were way out in the country but it's only 20 minutes to the waterfront town of Georgetown, with shops, dining, museums and more. Looking to get away? This place is truly a retreat- a 3 bedroom house on the beautiful Black River in Georgetown. Four kayaks provided, swim or fish off the dock just a few steps from the house.

By The Sea: Waterfront! Million Dollar View!

We are on the Waterfront, also the natural part of Murrells Inlet. We have beautiful sunrises and views of the Inlet from our patio and backyard. The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, which is part of the East Coast Greenway, runs in front of our home. (Bring your bicycle) Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens 1 mile South of us. The Marsh Walk is 2 miles to the North. Grahams Landing Restaurant is one lot over from us, within walking distance. Southern Hops is across the street.

Quiet farmhouse near the beach

The best memories are made on the farm. Life is just better away from the hustle and bustle of city lights and busy schedules. Come stay in this recently renovated fourth generation 1950s farmhouse on an 80 acre working farm. Unwind on the porch, walk trails, find millions of years old sharks teeth, build a bonfire, pick blackberries, swim in the ponds, collect walnuts, or just relax while you’re here but don’t forget to wish on a dandelion or a shooting star before you leave.

The Hanna Farmhouse

Enjoy a peaceful stay in a rustic farmhouse on land owned by the Hanna family since the 1700s. This retreat spot has centuries-old live oak trees shading the back yard and walking trails around the contiguous farm. Wake up to the roosters crowing and the birds chirping. Settle in for the night with the sound of the crickets and if nature plans for it some really beautiful sunsets. 4 beds in upstairs loft. Sofa pulls out to a bed. 1 hour to Myrtle Beach. 1.5 hour to Charleston. 30 mins to Georgetown.
