Second time we’ve used May’s Lodge and left an excellent review last time Good communication again and a simple check in

We had a wonderful stay at mini-moon. The cottage was modern, light and clean. The modern interior and home comforts made our stay feel luxurious. The copper bath is a lovely touch. Everything you needed was supplied. Nicola was a fantastic host, she was available whenever you needed her.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

Amazing place with awesome hosts. Mark and Deborah. They were great with communication, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. My family and I had an amazing time at Maple leaf cottage. The house was immaculately clean and well decorated. Great access to swimming pool my kids enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely visit Maple leaf cottage again.

A perfect stay in The Lakes. Could not of asked for a better location. The property was beautiful with stunning views. Communication was very good with very clear instructions. The icing on the cake was the bathroom, absolutely glorious. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Bumble Choo is such a wonderful place! The property is immaculate, wonderfully decorated and appointed. Matthew and his family have provided everything you could possibly need to have a fantastic and peaceful holiday. We hope to return soon x

We really enjoyed our stay at Melanie’s. The house is really comfy, cosy, well-appointed and welcoming. We found it deceptively spacious and we loved the big rooms. The beds are very comfy and the house is warm on cold days and airy when it is hot outside. It’s extremely handy for day trips to Beamish and it’s close enough to make an easy journey into Newcastle. We found the parking was a tight squeeze but Melanie’s advice on how to manage this was spot-on - she is a very helpful host. Event though the house is on a narrow terraced street, the neighbours left us space to get the car in and out, and we found the house private, quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed in the house and there are lots of extras like Netflix and Freeview on the TV as well as lots of books and DVDs. The chip shop down the road served us huge portions and was tasty - we also recommend the Stables restaurant at Beamish Hall. We hope to stay at Melanie’s again and will be recommending it to others.
