Very quietly located apartment on the edge of the forest in the small district of Altneudorf of the Odenwald town of Schönau in the district of Heidelberg. On 50 square meters, we offer accommodation with cozy warmth thanks to the included fireplace. The area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails, castles and other destinations, etc. In the summer months (June/July/August/possibly Sept.) our recessed pool (heated by solar - water temperature is therefore dependent on the hours of sunshine) can be used in the garden.

It’s located on the ground floor, with direct access to the garden Situated just 3 km from Heidelberg’s historic old town, the location offers a scenic walk along the Neckar River through a charming, established neighborhood. It’s an ideal spot for hikers, mountain bikers, and road cyclists, with excellent trails leading up to Königstuhl and fantastic road cycling routes in the surrounding area.

Suitable for 6 guests but 8 to 9 are possible. 5 mins walk to train station to Heidelberg Altstadt (20 mins). Two Technik museums (30 mins), Heidelberg Clinics (25mins), Hockenheim Ring (30 mins), TSG Hoffenheim (15 mins). Close to supermarkets, bakery, restaurants, toy shop, cycle paths and woods. Secure bike storage. We follow the cleaning guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You may use the keybox or I can greet you personally with a mask and distance.

The living room is air-conditioned. Cozy king size bed 160 x 200 m, wardrobe, TV (Telekom Magenta, prime video, Netflix), coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, toiletries, Wi-Fi, use of carport. The turn-of-the-century estate with sheep pasture and spring is located in front of the walls of the historic Dilsberg Castle and invites you to relax. Schönau is an old monastery town with a monastery complex and chicken farm on the edge of the Odenwald. Hiking trails to the Neckar Valley and the Odenwald start not far from the apartment.
