First of all, Umeshji were super helpful in guiding us throughout the way to the apartment. I was bit worried as we reached there at night and I had my mother, sister and nephew with me. But thanks to Umeshji, we found the place easily and checkin was smooth. The apartment was really good and we felt like we’re at our home. Clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. And have shops nearby yet away from the noise that we have around mall road. It’s also near to some of the tourist spots like George Everest, company garden. We just walked to the company garden and the Dalai hills and mall road as well.

Recommended place for someone who is looking for a peaceful and calm environment away from tht city hustle.

Great things Sanyukta and her staff was extremely helpful and proactive. She helped us with all sorts of local recommendations and requirements. If you are looking at working from here, you can face certain challenge. Though the host was gracious enough to help us with a dongle in addition to the WiFi - the speed was an issue. Not suitable for someone seeking extensive connectivity. It’s manageable. This location is 2.5kms from Kempty town - you need a vehicle every time if you are not very fond of walking. It’s amazing for people looking for a peaceful location away from the main city. Cabs are a bit expensive here. Overall, amazing and satisfactory stay. Really enjoyed our 5 days. I have been using AirBnB for well nigh a decade now — and this was one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences so far. This was in large part due to the interest that Sanyukta took in our stay at the Rainbow farm — from recommending an extremely good driver for taking us around to taking us on a unique and informative tour of her orchard, nursery and garden anand further for taking us out on a wonderful hike up to the pine forest. She also took good care of arranging for our basic needs like breakfast and cottage cleaning. The cottage itself is picturesque and the panoramic view of the hills from the huge glass windows on three sides of the cottage is spectacular. The only downside of the stay are the crowds at popular tourist sites like Kempty falls (Sanyukta had hinted that it would be so) and the monotony of the mughlai food/pizzas/pasta available at most restaurants — ameliorated partly by genuine Garhwali food at a couple of places. Overall a wonderful vacation.
