Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Narbonne

Eric and his partner have lovingly restored and built this property set around the ruins of a 12 Century castle. It is astonishingly beautiful. On the roof terrace there is also a small shared pool. We were here out of season, but it was a lovely hot day, so Eric got up early in the morning to open and clean the pool for us. The inside is equally charming and the nights were super cold, but the heating works extremely well. Eric is an artist and also showed us his atelier- really beautiful paintings. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is authentic with beautiful surroundings and the nicest possible host. I will recommend this to all my friends and would like to return for an extended stay.

such a beautiful, tranquil spot. we had a lovely couple of the days in this cottage in the hills, with beautiful surroundings. the hosts were very helpful and kind. one night we ordered food from a neighbour and it was amazing. highly recommend!

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious winegrower's house close to the Clape massif. The house is one of the buildings of the Château Ricardelle vineyard. The host is responsive and accommodating.

The Airbnb is spectacular, well designed, clean and well equipped and is situated in a stunning location. Will definitely stay again.

No false notes during our weekend in this beautiful house in the heart of the old village of Gruissan. Everything is exactly as advertised and photos. We won't hesitate to come back.

Pierre's house was beautiful! I stayed with family of six adults. We were greeted by the lovely Michelle who showed us round. The house is perfectly and stylishly kitted out with everything you could need. The pool area was a fantastic place to relax, eat meals, swim and play table tennis! We spent most of our time there when not out exploring the region. Pierre recommended the Vin Bikes wine tasting tour. Highly recommend this. Amazing electric mountain bike tour of the local scenery and vinyards with a local guide, followed by wine tasting with local cheeses under the shade of a large olive tree. It was perfect. The location is great for driving to several iconic historical towns, cities and beaches. Pierre and Michelle were always reachable to answer any questions. Check out was a breeze. Would stay again! We had a nice stay at Jo's house. Our daughter had no shortage of toys and loved the slide in the garden! The walk to the lake is beautiful. The surroundings are super quiet. Jo has a lot of useful information available and responds quickly to messages!

This is a lovely apartment. Very comfortable. We wanted to swap our kitchens. It was very well equipped, first rental place I have ever stayed in that had good knives! Lovely views from the bedrooms. Chairs, mats and umbrellas for the beach were appreciated. As was the proximity of the beach and sea. At this time of year (mid June) Leucate was very quiet and peaceful. We are guessing that many of the houses in Leucate Plage are second homes only used during “Le Grande Depart”. However restaurants and a great new beach bar were open. We also loved the oyster shacks. We really enjoyed our stay and Brice was a great host.

Excellent welcome, very kind and very nice host, beautiful apartment and tastefully furnished with a sensational sea view accessible 150 m by a pedestrian path that leads to the port. Possibility of hiking with him. He is always available to his guests and he likes to spoil them so they can have a memorable stay. We won't forget this week and will come back next year.

We had already come to Philippe's apartment and we found it with great pleasure. This apartment is really great. Great location, with magnificent views from a very nice terrace. It is super well-equipped, very clean, tastefully decorated. Christine, Philipe's mom, welcomed us with great kindness, and really wanted us to enjoy our vacation by giving us little tips. Philippe and Christine are very responsive in communicating with their tenants. Home to highly recommend

Very comfortable and spacious accomodation with great views and easy access to the citadel and Ville Basse. Well equipped kitchen and several options for eating in and outdoors. Entertainment includes bicycles, table tennis and nice pool. Pierre communicated well and responded quickly to any queries.

All amenities were available in the accommodation and even more than what you can expect from an Airbnb. ideal for cooking. everything you need to come with a baby and family with children.

We had a wonderful stay at Corinne's house. The house is bright and spacious. The pool offers a very good refreshment in hot weather. There are seats in different places, in the romantic back garden and by the pool. The house is in a very good location above the village and the environment is very quiet. Many impressive sites  are accessible in 30 to 60 minutes  by car. Corinne was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

Situated off a country road, down a little lane with two or three houses nearby, Guillaume's house offers a beautiful, tranquil respite from the world. The house is well equipped, very spacious, great kitchen, comfy beds, and the outside terrace is quite big and partially covered so you can escape the sun when necessary. Guy and Agnes, the parents of Guilluame, were warm and welcoming. Guy gave us an extended tour of his vineyards and pistachio tree orchard, which are just stunning. We had a personal tasting of his wine that was wonderful. We enjoyed the vineyard views from the terrace, loved listening to the great variety of birds and the stargazing at night was awesome. We need to go back!!

We had a lovely stay at Arnaud's villa. The place is ultra peaceful among oaks and birds. You can walk to Old Rigarda and the house is ideally located to access hikes and other attractions in the area.

Cédric is great - stuck around to help us resolve a few unpredictable issues on arrival, and offered great support throughout the stay. Awesome location and views. Very easy to walk into the city, and lots of outdoor space to relax in. 100% recommend. Do not visit Chateux de Gaure winery though - it was a disaster. Should’ve stuck with Cédric’s recommendation!

The perfect spot to detox from our busy city life and our work. Lots of little villages dating from medieval times to discover, and only 1 hour away from the coast. The rooms are spacious and I loved the kitchen to cook in. The pool area is very large and is a perfect place to chill or take a refreshing swim. The house is very private. We loved our stay at Les Volets Bleus. Our hosts were always very friendly and available if we had questions.
