Mr. Masashi is very communicative, friendly, kind, and patient. He always offered helpful tips and recommendations on places to visit, such as the hot spring, Umami Hill Park, the local supermarket, a sushi restaurant, and the library. The area around the library was especially beautiful, with cherry blossom trees in full bloom. As we walked uphill toward Don Quijote, we also came across a small park where lanterns were hanging along the cherry blossom trees — it looked magical at night when the lanterns were lit. We also really enjoyed the barbecue dinner with him; the assortment of meats, sides, and drinks he prepared for us was absolutely delicious. All in all, we had a wonderful time at this Airbnb and would gladly stay here again.

A lovely base for our holiday, a home away from home. Host helped us with check-in when we were extremely tired from a 20-hilour journey. The house (located above a massage parlour) was clean, quiet and cosy. Couldn't be happier and would stay there again.

John was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and welcoming. His home was exactly as described (if not better!)—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the little touches that made it feel like home. It was the perfect base for our Japan trip, and we’d love to return again in the future. Highly recommended!

Great host very responsive. The evening we arrived she picked us up at the train and brought us to our place. Then after we dropped our bags she drove us to a local grocery and made recommendations for things we could buy there. We also ate at her restaurant one day and it was very good. She is nearby a steam with cherry blossoms blooming. The place was walkable to all we needed. Kina was very helpful. The two rooms within the suite are separated by a Japanese screen door: think thin walls! Also other reviewers mentioned the space not being private from the host but the suite including dining and kitchen area were just ours for our stay except for one frig that was the hosts but was not accessed while we were in there. We went to the Osaka expo which was fairly easy and accessible by train. Her son (?) also drove us to the train when we left. What a wonderful stay.
