Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nara

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 2 western style beds and were super comfortable! The house was spacious and super quiet. The house is tucked away at the end of a small street and very private. We arrived by taxi when it was dark which made the house very difficult to find but after searching a few neighborhood streets we found it!

Thank you very much. The convenience store is a little far away, so if you buy it in advance when you stay, I think it will be a hassle!

This is a wonderful house in the Kitayama range. It is spacious and has the nice touch and feel of the 80's with all the furniture and equipment one expects from a Japanese home. The host, Noriko-san, is a lively and extremely kind person. She arranged my arrival with much care, found out the best train and bus route for me and organised my being picked up at the bus station. She came and stayed at the guesthouse for half of my stay (we agreed on that before I booked) and it was a pleasure sharing time with her and the manager of the house who lives near by. Both where extremely obliging and helped me exploring around. I warmly recommend it for those searching for the sound of silence.

A very nice place to stay, perfect place for all of your Osaka adventures. the host was amazing, proactive, and great at communication. the house was well stocked and clean, we will be staying there again next year.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. There are just houses around. I was healed by the tranquility when I arrived. The building was renovated from a former ryokan and has been carefully remodeled.　Everything was clean and pleasant, such as the bathroom and the shower sink. The host was also kind and accommodating, and it was a great trip. Thank you very much.

Very quiet and cozy place.However, it may be the reason for the wooden house and the overall soundproofing of the house is not very good.

It's great to be able to walk to Yakushiji Temple and Toshodaiji Temple!The nearby bakery was also good.

The house is very big, we were 4 people staying, it seems to be 5-7 minutes🚉 walk from Nara jr station, and about 10 minutes to another station, you can appreciate the ancient simplicity of Nara, there is a small temple on the winding path, quiet and simple, and there are delicious cafes a few steps away!Very convenient and quiet! Worth staying

I had an incredible experience on Airbnb. The house was spacious, cozy, and charming. The neighborhood was serene and tranquil. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, sharing information about nearby conveniences and beautiful spots for cherry blossom photos. They also offered a massage service at a great price of just 4000 Yen per hour, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this place for families of 4 to 6, especially for those traveling by car.

I’ll give Ayaka’s place a five star, without the slightest doubt. She offered to pick us up at the JR station and drove us to her lovely house deep in the mountains of Nara, which is peaceful and tranquil. The house is in the Japanese style and well maintained. Dining by the pit was the most unique exp. It’s great to breeze in the morning air during the Sakura season.

We highly recommend staying in this beautiful house! We stayed two weeks, and it truly became our home away from home. It was more spacious than we expected. Managed to fit all 10 of us around the table, and the sofas were spacious and comfy. Aircondition in every room was truly a blessing! Easily fit two Toyota Sientas in the driveway. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We will miss them and the house. We pray we can come back in the future. <3

We had an amazing time staying in this authentic Japanese traditional house that blends classic charm with modern comforts. The place was really clean and well kept, and you can tell Xian Jie, the owner pays attention to all the little things, which made it feel really cozy. The best part was definitely the brand-new private onsen—such a nice way to relax and made the trip way better. I highly recommend this place, and strongly suggest booking the optional dinner and breakfast to fully enjoy the authentic Japanese hospitality and cuisine made with local ingredients. This stay offers a perfect blend of tradition, comfort, and luxury for an unforgettable experience. Thumbs up👍

We used it for offsite Mtg of the company. It's a very private space. A team of 6 people can have a Mtg in the room. We also had a warm and welcoming stay outside at the BBQ. They came to pick us up at the meeting point. He was kind enough to guide and guide the accommodation, and carefully taught how to use it. I think we had a really great time staying here.Thank you!!!

It was a first time to Japan for me and my family. Seven of us in the house were just nice. Host was extremely responsive and available throughout our stay. We got lost locating the house on the first day but we got the hang of it after. Beds and pillows were awesome, we had a good sleep after walking the whole day. A few convenience shops nearby were really helpful as well. Osaka is the best. Just as small feedback: hope the cleaning people will sweep the floor thoroughly as we found dust under the beds. Hope to stay there again when we visit next time. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful house!

We had a peaceful time in a very quiet place.It was a very quiet and relaxing space because there were no people around.I am very satisfied. There was a host in the next building, so you can take care of anything right away.I asked if you could turn off the LED lights with a strong amount of light when making a bonfire, and they handled it comfortably.We enjoyed the bonfire and the starry sky.

The house is elegantly decorated. Bread, drinks, fruits and snacks were prepared in advance, which was very thoughtful. The rooms are well-equipped. The landlord also prepared a map and recommended local pubs and restaurants. Great stay!

Though the place is quite far from the popular attraction, we felt at home as soon as we arrived the homestay. There was a bike that we were allowed to use. Very peaceful neighbourhood.

Great place, metro station is close and supermarkets. It's clean and the area is very walkable
