Great place to stay while exploring Japan

Great little place to stay. Close to local shops and metro. unfortunately there is no WiFi but that is already mentioned in the listing. Other than that, great place.

This was a beautiful place. I would feel comfortable staying here again with my family. One of the more comfortable mattresses I’ve slept in whilst staying in Japan! They had thought of everything in regard to having small children stay with a high chair, cot and other helpful amenities. Flexible with leaving our bags before designated check in time.

Very close to Nara Park.There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the shopping street next door.The convenience store is about 2 minutes away.Overall, it's really convenient.

I absolutely loved this accommodation! If you want to get a taste for what it is like to be a local and live outside of the city center where most people, live this is the place. It had all the stuff I needed to "live" and even got a couple luxuries that other Airbnbs have not offered like an Umbrella to use and slippers to wear inside. I actually ran into almost no foreigners, everyone was local (besides the other airbnb guests on other floors), and there were enough services nearby, like grocery stores, laundromat, restaurants, train station, etc, that I had most of what I needed nearby. Any thing else that I needed was just a train away. Plus, I was able to rent a bike without having to go through bike share apps and sign ups, that made getting around even easier! Next time I am in the Osaka area I will choose this place again!

Exactly according to the name, comfy! Small but perfectly organized so it was actually big enough. Enough room for two big suitcases and perfectly located in Nara! Its a 10 minute walk to the station and within 30 minutes you have already seen a lot of deers! I was a bit sceptical about the building being so close to the railway but you actually hear nothing at night, the appartement is located on the away side and during the morning you almost cannot hear them, only when you really focus on it! Big television but unfortunately only Japanese programs, dont know if there was supposed to be streaming services like netflix but the one night we tried to get it working it didn't look like. In the kitchen there is everything you need, but before using it I decided to clean everything myself since it wasn't left the cleanest. Overal definitely a good place to stay and definitely recommend!

Very clean, comfortable and good location very close to Nara train station. Lots of services, only small downside is that the window overlooks a courtyard, but that didn't bother us since the accommodation was very comfortable elsewhere

We had a nice few days in Osaka. The room was clean and to our expectations.

Great for 1-3 people, common spaces were spacious and clean, bedrooms were comfortable and quiet

The host is very responsive The location is good, and there is a shopping street where you can experience Osaka nearby. There are many people in the center of Osaka, but it is a little far away and it is easy to move flexibly Definitely better here than Namba and Umeda

We stayed at Masako's place for a month and had a great time. The house is spacious (by Japanese standards) and had a nice view of the mountains. The kitchen was small but sufficient for basic cooking. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful with many amenities nearby. The free bicycles provided by Masako was a great bonus too. All in all great value for money for someone who does not wish to stay right in the city centre and don't mind abit of a walk to the train station (we loved the stroll).

There were no other people, so we had to use the common areas as well.The room was also spacious and comfortable.Thank you very much.

The place is big, comfortable and interesting. We especially appreciated the elevator - no need to struggle with luggage up the stairs! Nice, big communal table. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. The host was extremely responsive and answered all our questions and helped out with any issues we had. 2 minor nitpicks: 1. Not a lot of stuff in the kitchen, e.g. there were no knives, not a lot of cutlery, no pot to make porridge, no cups for tea (there were only single use ones). So the kitchen is not equipped for cooking. Not a big issue if you were planning to eat out or survive on combini food, but we ended up asking for extra stuff from the host (which he provided). 2. The towels for bathing were somehow extraordinarily not absorbent. Feels like it's a challenge to make towels so not fit for purpose, but Japan delivered! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back if we're in Osaka again!

The best decision we made was staying there. Mariko, the manager, is pure love and service. Sleeping on the tatami was an incredibly comfortable experience; I have no complaints about the place. It’s about half an hour by train from the city, but it’s perfect if you’re heading to Kyoto or Nara, as it’s only one hour from the accommodation to either. There’s a laundry on the first floor, and I loved the price. I highly recommend it.
