Family-friendly vacation rentals in Napa

Linda’s home in Glen Ellen was perfect! We were minutes from some great wineries and walking distance into town (restaurants, grocery store, bar, etc). The house is so inviting, we spent time reading, relaxing, and enjoying the backyard. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic time at Christina's place in Sonoma. It was our second time staying at this place, so we knew what to expect. There was a slight glitch getting in the front door, but Christina was immediately available by text and had us taken care of in no time. All in all we loved the house and Christina was a wonderful host.

I’m so glad to have found this airbnb! It was in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The place was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We did have issues with wifi connections and would get bad signal on/off, also had trouble with opening the door (several tries with the code and being able to push open the door), but other than that, everything was perfect! Highly recommend this place and Kristina was awesome! I definitely would book here again if the need arises!

We had a great stay at this spacious and well-equipped home in Sonoma! The house had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a definite highlight—clean, warm pool and a beautiful area to relax in. Check-in was super easy, and the door code worked without any issues. The location was perfect for our trip—we used a local driving service to take us to wineries in Napa, which worked out really well. A few small things to note: the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and one of the twin beds was pretty squeaky. We also would’ve appreciated more towels since there were four of us. The en-suite shower could use some attention—it’s older and came across a bit dingy. Overall, it was a solid stay and we’d definitely consider coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy House! The pool was large and fantastic, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed. The house was spotless, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Both the garden and front yard were lovely, and the pool area was especially private thanks to the high fence. Brook was incredibly friendly, always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay, and promptly answered all our questions. She was very helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend!

The resort was very nice. The room was clean and just what we were looking for. Be prepared to not find any parking places in the parking lot.

A fabulous stay in Sonoma/ Napa area for long weekend with family. Incredible home! Close to adorable shops and great restaurants and only 30 minutes from downtown Napa. Owner very communicative always makes any guest feel special. Would highly recommend.

This property is amazing in every way. There’s a view from the ocean from almost every room, beautiful tile work and gorgeous, well appointed bathrooms. A sauna and extra hot hot tub. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The house itself is beautiful with private spaces, but also a large living room where everyone can gather around a beautiful tiled potbelly fireplace. It’s a short walk to the beach through a charming neighborhood. The host Rebekah was very communicative and generous, allowed us flexible, check-in and check out. I will 100% be staying here again.

This was the perfect place for our friends/family gathering! We spent a long weekend in Sonoma to do some wine tasting and gather for a birthday/Father’s Day celebration. The house is beyond beautiful and you can tell Nancy takes wonderful care of the interior and outside spaces. Beds were comfortable and the game room was such a blast! The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you need to cook (we made several breakfasts and a lovely dinner and there was nothing we were left wanting in terms of utensils/dishware/etc). The house is nestled right into the hills and is just teeming with birds and other critters which made great morning coffee companions. Quiet and secluded. Nancy was a phenomenal host - she was quick to respond and made our stay incredibly relaxing. We felt so welcomed! We will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you again Nancy and Co 😊

We found just what we were looking for; a peaceful and private cabin near the Russian River and with a lot of style and soul to boot. The house was very clean, comfortable and provided some sweet outdoor spaces for dining and lounging. With the heavy vegetation growing below, we didn't have a view of the river, but it was just a quick stroll away. The only downside I can think of is traffic noise along a semi-busy road that's nearby. But it wasn't a buzzkill and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. We hope to return soon.

the house is lovely, hot tub and game room are top notch! I think the welcome packet got lost between a previous guest and our stay, but Raemy answered all questions very quickly. Views are truly amazing!

The home was beautiful, we truly enjoyed our time there. They say that pictures are worth a thousand words but pictures of the views from the multiple balconies are unable to capture how stunning they really are. The home was just as listed, clean and was the most stocked home we have visited. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas and made unforgettable memories.

What a beautiful place to stay! It was very convenient, especially getting to the wineries around Kenwood. It was just a quick drive away from Santa Rosa and maybe a 45-minute trip over to the Napa region. Amenities were well stocked, and we felt right at home. If you have some mobility challenges, the stairs up from the driveway can be a little tough. There are about three steps up that do not have a rail.

This apartment is a gem! The location is perfect to walk around downtown Sonoma and the plaza, parking is super convenient, and all of the amenities that we needed were included (bonus: there is a sound machine in the bedroom so we didn't even have to break out our portable one). Michele was very responsive and check in directions were clear and easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

This was a great spot for our 48hrs in Sonoma. The cottage was perfect for four adults with a shared bathroom. Check in was simple, checkout was also simple. The cottage, as mentioned in previous reviews, is close to the main road but we weren’t bothered by the road noise. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, cute back patio area to sit and enjoy the complementary bottle of wine. Easy drive to anywhere you need to go.

We were two couples from the Bay Area. It was perfect for the four of us. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. Plenty of drawer space in bedrooms and closets for our cloths and things. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor space. Laura was very available for any questions. Check in and check out were very easy. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place!

As a corporate meeting planner, I found Audrey to be very organized, thorough in our video call and very prepared when it comes to hosting guests in a vacation home. There was literally everything we needed to stay and be self-sufficient at the property. Everything was very clearly labeled, and we appreciated the warm hospitality with the delicious bottle of wine left for the four of us. The home is appropriately decorated with furnishings and artwork that Audrey has personally collected around the world. The Dyson fans were a great addition to each guest room. We only wish we could have stayed longer than four nights. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Sonoma and seeking a relaxing stay with quick access to the Sonoma square shopping and restaurants.

The view is spectacular in this lovely private location. It's off the beaten path, but if you have a car, it's a wonderful place to stay.

We loved our two nights at Amy’s place with our two pups! I wish we would have planned to stay longer, there was a lot more to explore in the area! It was SO clean. We usually feel like we need to re-clean just to feel ok in Airbnb’s but Amy’s place felt like we were staying at a friend’s place that we trusted. The homemade delivered muffins were a treat and she gave us some awesome local recommendations. The bed was comfortable and it was super quiet!

Our stay at La Veranda was perfect !! We lived the location , easy to access wineries, restaurants and the “Square” . House was lovely inside , fabulous comfy beds , well stocked kitchen and wonderful views of surrounding nature - truly tranquil . I would definitely book again !

Troy was accommodating and helpful. The place is really lovely and comfortable. It was really a pleasure to stay in a beautiful home in gorgeous surroundings. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
