Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nantahala Lake

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a cute and comfortable place to stay while we were in town for my daughters musical performance at WCU. Greta's house was perfect. It was very clean and beautifully decorated and is very close to the university. This is a great house!

A most awesome place. The location is beautiful, the house extremely clean and comfortable, and the amenities top notch. Would definitely stay again. Host communications were first rate.

We loved being able to travel with our dogs. The backyard was beautiful we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well as letting the dogs run free in the woods in the back! She was very responsive and a great host.

Great house in amazing location! The house has plenty of space and was stocked extremely well even for our large party. There are plenty of amenities within the house itself, such as a canoe, volleyball nets, ping-pong tables, a firepit and a grill, as well as in the surrounding area. Leah was responsive and easy to reach. It was a great weekend getaway and I would highly reccommend the house!

Easy check in. Hosts allowed early check-in because we arrived too early. Dog run available for use while we needed to get ready for different events. Well centered between Franklin and Sylva. Short drive to Georgia state line going South. Short ride to Waynesville going east. Follow hosts direction not to take Brendle to home. We have a 4WD Jeep and used it but would not recommend for small sedans or SUV’s/trucks. We also were able to get a delivery from Instacart for our groceries.

Had a really nice stay at this home for our annual trip with the dogs to the mountains. The pups were in love with the open land to run and play. It was truly a cozy space with a lot to offer. We enjoyed the various activities set up around the property. Waking up to the beautiful mountain view never gets old!

I felt the place had beautiful surroundings! Mountain View! Beautiful bird songs. I love how big the bathroom in the master bedroom is! Carmela was very responsive and helpful and accommodating! Thank you!

Laura is an amazing host and very organized! Take Paws has everything you need including kitchen accessories, bedding, outdoor grilling & a fire pit. It’s also a great location beyond just Franklin, like visiting Highlands, Bryson City and playing golf at Sequoyah National Golf Course. Very easy to find and so peaceful!

We enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the cleanliness and private stay. We were able to escape for a few days and relax!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

This was honestly our best airbnb stay to date! The villa is beautiful and view is unmatched. We loved the pool and the fantastic kitchen.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

Mary Jo and Lina’s place was perfect for our family! It had so many kid friendly accommodations and was well kept and just a short walk to shops and restaurants! We loved our stay!

We loved the house. It was exactly what we needed and expected. The views were amazing. The pool table and games were a hit. Also having all the extra spices, condiments and coffee there was so helpful. It was a great home away from home. Nancy is so wonderful to work with, which made our stay even better.

George’s place was a great mountain escape for me and my puppy! Very cozy and perfect for 1-2 people. If you like to cook, I found the cooking facilities more than adequate!

The perfect cabin -look no further! Clean, smallest details covered, and cozy. BBQ and hot tub work-hot tub felt so good! Kitchen stocked and ready to cook. IGA grocery store close. Fun restaurants to try. We had a Valentine’s Day dinner at the Dancing Bear bistro and a lunch at JimBob’s BBQ. Short drive to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Fun shops to explore in and around Townsend. This host has you in mind when in comes to being a guest. We loved every second of our time. Oh how I miss drinking wine on the porch! The view!

We had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. The home is very secluded with amazing views of the lake. Lisa communicated with us the entire time, providing a lot of information about the house and things to do in the surrounding area. Definitely recommend and hope to be back

Second time staying here! Love this location and rental spot so much! Easy walking distance to downtown and lots to do close by! :) we will be back, again!

We loved the layout of the house and having the river right at our doorstep. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, and there is plenty to do nearby. The house is well equipped with everything we need. We enjoyed playing foosball and air hockey, and it was wonderful to relax in the hot tub at night.

Place was extremely clean,close to main st highlands but far enough away to be quiet, Becky responded within a few minutes, had a fantastic time in highlands and surrounding area,we travel to highlands often, first time using a airbnb loved it!!Becky's a great host to work with.

Five stars is not enough. Great location, comfortable, all you need is there and if it isn't Sean will make sure it is there in the blink of an eye.

We have family in Robbinsville, but if you know the area there is absolutely nothing to do there other than just riding around. So this was a great mid point between stuff to do and Robbinsville! The house was perfect, the bed was so comfortable! it felt like home. And that means so much when traveling with a little one that doesn’t like new places! He wasn’t affected at all and we are so thankful! We will absolutely be staying here again and recommending it to family/friends!

Great stay, the views were stunning and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike!
