We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

Very private location. Peaceful getaway. Not so far from town that running to the grocery is a chore, nor too far from great hikes. Our medium sized dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and we all sunbathed on the deck. Will stay again!

For those seeking peace and serenity, thus is the place. There is plenty of outdoor activities in town with tubing, kayaking and fishing. Then you go to your place and jump in the hot tub. Beautiful, private and just as described.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

My husband and I had a wonderful week’s stay at the cabin. Communication with the host was so easy and they were very quick to respond and even offer suggestions of places to go. The cabin was very clean. We brought our stand alone hammocks and enjoyed listening to the soothing sound of the creek after long days of hiking and exploring.

Fantastic place to relax on the lake! The view is beautiful and if you have a boat, it is convenient to dock the boat and take a boat ride whenever you would like. The full deck in the back is great to use while enjoying coffee or reading a book. Super clean and comfortable. Just be aware the driveway is a little steep and is gravel. No problem driving a car up, but hauling a boat on the driveway can be an issue. Overall a relaxing experience!

We loved Cale's cabin! It's in a gated cabin community but surrounded with trees, so still felt private. It's not as quiet as a backcountry cabin would be - we could hear some road noise, especially weekend motorcyclists - but we didn't find it particularly distracting. Because of the topology, I doubt it's possible to completely escape the sounds of civilization here. I don't usually use hot tubs at rentals but this one was so squeaky-clean that I couldn't resist. We loved the hammock chair & porch swing! The porch is deep enough to enjoy even when it was raining. The location is 10 minutes from the Cades Cove entrance to Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park and 5 minutes from Townsend, a small town but big enough for restaurants and coffee shops, a grocery store, ice cream stand, brew pub, and places to go tubing, horseback riding, etc. This area is oriented to outdoor enthusiasts, not entertainment & shopping. The driveway was as steep as noted but gave our Prius no problems.

It was such a fun week. Everything they said they had they did. Plus extra towels bags , ziplocs & dishsoap. We used the tubes & the hot tub! Great communication. if you dont see fish move up the river and throw food and They show up. FYI the fish dont care for our lures but they loved the food.!! the kids loved feeding them.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

This lovely Airbnb was just what my family needed to get away from the city. We loved how it was secluded from the other houses and the yard was a big hit for our dog! There are two dogs on the property that are just too cute! We had a big thunderstorm while we were there and the covered patio made it so we could sit and enjoy the sound of the rain. 10/10 recommend :)

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was an absolutely magical experience. The cabin is tucked away towards the back of a beautiful community and it is surrounded by nature. It was very clean and smelled wonderful when we entered and it served as a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of hiking or shopping and just being out on the town..

Exactly as described in the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this Airbnb. Pros - Private and has an amazing view of th Chattahoochee National Forest. - It is a around a 20 min drive to the nearest Aldi/Walmart which is not bad. Many local restaurants in the area. - The cabin has many tasteful and thoughtful touches to it- the kitchen was well appointed. It had many board games and outdoor activities for our group. Cons - The last mile up the mountain can be a little tricky for some. The road is unpaved and pebbled and has a few hair pin bends which could be difficult for some to tackle. We had an AWD and so the climb was easy. A note for EV (Tesla specifically) owners - The closest Tesla supercharger is close to Marietta/Chattanooga. - The Tesla app estimates accurately although I would still keep a 5% extra charge over the desired destination charge, just in case. - Level 2 charging at the Airbnb keeps range anxiety at bay!

I’m a out-of-state photographer who came in for a wedding and I booked the yurt for two nights. It was so comfortable so beautiful and I can’t wait to come back and stay for longer. Thank you so much Carson for being a great host. You have a truly unique and wonderful space

Wonderful excluded area, great place to get away! Lovely area make sure you pack hiking shoes, and bring an SUV some of the hills are pretty steep on the drive!

adorable cabin surrounded by trees with a very convenient dog park across from the driveway. i loved staying at this cabin! it truly made our trip so much better. the hosts were very friendly & helpful. there's grocery stores >5 min from cabin & a cute downtown area with shops & eats all close by. i would live there if i could!

super helpful when we were trying to find it. host was worried gps would send us the wrong way and gave step by step directions. thankfully, our gps worked out fine because we came in from the opposite side of the mountain, but his directions were on point coming from the other side. beautiful view. nice and clean. within 20 min from most anything you could want to do.

The cabin was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities and a welcoming, peaceful energy. It held true to everything we were hoping for - private, quiet, and full of good vibes. The hosts were kind and responsive, even before our arrival. They provided clear directions, including a helpful video that guided us right to their tucked-away mountain retreat. That level of care made a big difference and helped us settle in quickly. The home itself was clean, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we needed for a restful stay. We enjoyed early mornings on the deck, long quiet drives through the Smokies, and simply being still. It allowed for a much needed pause. We had a positive experience and would absolutely recommend this beautiful hideaway .

I had the pleasure of staying at this cozy Airbnb for a weekend getaway with some old friends, and it was the perfect spot to catch up and unwind. While we weren’t focused on exploring the area, this house made us feel so comfortable that it felt like our own home away from home. Twyla, the host, was amazing—so responsive and kind, offering early check-in and late check-out. She also provided a thorough house guide with helpful instructions on everything we needed to know. As for the location, the house was a bit tricky to find initially, especially given the mountain roads, but Twyla’s step-by-step instructions (with images!) made it much easier. While the house isn't right on the lake, it’s just a short walk away, and the stroll was actually quite pleasant. We enjoyed the peacefulness of it and didn’t mind the few minutes it took to get there. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and a great place to unwind with friends. Highly recommend
