Includes: master bedroom, sleeping loft (queen-sized futon and custom Twin XL bunk beds); open kitchen/living area, covered and open patios. 10 minutes from Bryson City and Cherokee.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Our Lake house is located on Lake Chatuge in a quite secluded neighborhood in the beautiful North Georgia mountain town of Hiawassee. We are on the lake with an accessible deep water dock. This house offers lots of cozy indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating, including covered seating areas off of each king room, a large open deck, a lower deck, fire pit, and covered patio next to water. This 1940 homestead has been in my family for four generations and was built by my Great Granddaddy Shook. Our farmhouse features 2 BR and 1 BA. We are located off a quaint country road, only 1/2 a mile from Lake Chatuge and surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains A lot of love has been put in this restoration and now it’s time for your family to make memories of your own.
