Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Nagano

Great spot for large party/family. 5-7min walk from karasawa lift. 15-20min walk to main gondola. Bus stop is a minute away but if you wanna be the first ones up the gondola, make the walk or get a cab.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yoji Studio! Amy and the host were incredibly helpful and provided us with amazing recommendations. We stayed whilst we were snowboarding, the accommodation has the added bonus of 20% off the snow rental shop on the slopes! The place felt just like home, so close to all amenities and plentiful space, utensils in the little kitchenette. Coffee machine was great too! Lovely comfy king sized bed to rest in after a long day on the slopes! There is a washer dryer to use with complimentary detergent, also shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathroom! Smart TV and wifi for the nights we stayed in. Next door is the studio space with gym and yoga equipment; a stones throw away from a local (free) onsen to soak those aching muscles! All round great hosts, a great little spot, couldn’t be happier with the week we had staying here! Thank you so much for having us ☺️

Nick is a great fun guy! We were welcomed like we visited our friends’ house. Breakfast was great too. Very short driving to the onsen. Scenery is beautiful.

Owner was very friendly and super helpful! We really enjoyed the place. It was clean, well equipped and they had amazing dancing dragon toy our 3 year old has constantly switched on and dance to. The only inconvenience was the location with the fact we did not rent the car, but it was ok to find taxi to move around. Therefore the place would be fantastic if we plan the trip a bit better and rent a car

I had a very pleasant stay at Nicks house! He picked me up from the bus terminal at 8pm on the day I arrived as I don’t drive and showed me how to use the public bus to get back to his place. You might have to walk on the road at night but it’s only a 6 minute walk from the bus stop to his place. The room was very cozy with floor heating and the toilet was very clean. Nick also provided a hearty breakfast for 500 yen which was delicious.

It is an old house with a surprising amount of charm when you open the front door. I was surprised that the room was self-renovated! The atmosphere and cleanliness of an old house were both good, and I had a pleasant stay. Amenities such as shampoo and hair dryers are of course available, and plates, chopsticks, and the kitchen can also be used in the shared space, making it a great place to stay for long stays. The parking lot and entrance are small, but there is plenty of space to park, so I was able to stay without worrying. I'd love to stay here again when I visit this area. Good driving distance to several ski area nearby, the place is cozy and peaceful, very helpful host and his staff!

A really lovely place to stay in, the room Is big, there's an amazing view of the mountains in the room and everyone Is gentle, Shin Is a great host that always try to make you feel at home.

It was a very good place. Everyone was happy. I may be back next year!
