It was a very nice cottage. The clean and spacious hot spring was great.

Easy check in, amenities as described. The views were stunning and beautiful. The host was very friendly and helpful, and spoke English to help check in. I would recommend this place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the nature and views.

This charming Japanese house is nestled in a mountain town with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. For the best views, head to Arakawa-bashi Bridge (4-minute walk), where you can gaze south at Mt. Fuji, especially stunning during sunset. The Ku River is just steps away, with a scenic walking path lined with sakura trees that bloom beautifully in early April. We stayed here for a month in March and April and enjoyed the sakura at its peak. The area boasts a couple of notable restaurants. 郷土料理 ほうとう信州 serves delicious regional Haotou dishes, while Sakae Sushi (栄寿司) offers tasty food at affordable prices in a cozy mom-and-pop setting. Takashi and his staff have thoughtfully equipped the farmhouse with many amenities, setting it apart from other Airbnb options. We highly recommend staying here.

Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.

The place was like a traditional Japanese home with lovely gestures of hospitality. Food and amenities are just a 10min drive away. Ping pong was great but we suck at it. The Kotatsu was also nice to sit under. And there is also UNO!!!

all in all we had a great stay here! The bedrooms and kitchen, as well as the living room are amazing. The living room was especially comfortable, feels like at home! Although it was very cool outside, the inside was very warm❤️ need to mention that it's quite far from the station with veryy uphill road to the house. So, if you plan to check in after sunset, you most likely need taxi and it can be requested to Yoko and team, they're very helpful host✨️

This is a wonderful place to stay especially if you have a dog. It’s really modern and fully of windows to bring in the sunshine. The bath was really nice as well.

Excellent accomodation, felt very homely. Exceptional amenities and the access to vehicle provided was a huge plus. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend and very worth the value. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Japan.

I rented this for myself as a getaway in the mountains with my guitar and I was not disappointed. From start to finish this was the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. I made the mistake of going late to the town and missed all of the buses and taxis services. The host graciously at the late hour called one for me and got me out of that situation. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I will be staying here every single time I'm in the area.

What a magical place in Okutama. We stayed here for a few nights before hiking to Kumutori mountain and had the best time. Everything felt like home and to be honest we would love to come back for longer for this peaceful house in such a great setting. Special thanks to the host for many special details that made our stay a bit more comfortable. This is a perfect place to stay, I recommend to anyone who wants to hike around and intake the surrounding nature.

It was used for one night. It was a very comfortable space and the explanation was easy to understand. I had a memorable time!The nearby Tsuruya supermarket, hot springs, and tourist attractions are also attractive!

Three adults and two children stayed together The facilities were very clean, clean, and a pleasant stay. The bath is small, so it may not be suitable for those who want to relax, but I think the shower is enough. When I was loading my luggage in the morning, I was surprised that the cat was trying to get into the car with my eyes off.It's like a cat territory next to the car. It is a quiet place and there is also a park nearby, so I think it is a good place to walk around.It was a rush trip this time, so I couldn't relax, but if I had the opportunity, I wanted to take a walk or enjoy the surrounding area next time.
