The cabin has a lovely view of the lake, where it offers trout, sea trout, char and salmon. Floating jetty right below the cabin, where you can swim from. Bicycle trail outside the cabin in the summer, ski trail (occasionally) in the winter. Excellent area for mountain hiking and hunting. Svortstranda is about 800 m further away, popular for children. Free access to shared sauna which is also close to the cabin. Canoe is included in rent

You have the whole cabin to yourself. Pets are allowed. The cabin is located about 30 meters from the free parking space. Namsos city centre is only a 5-minute drive away. In the bedroom there is a double bed, while the attic is furnished with floor mattresses. Travel cot for children (up to 15kg) is available in the cottage. Steep stairs up to bedroom.

The cottage is situated alone with no insight from neighbours and is a great starting point whether you just want to enjoy the silence, go for a walk on one of the many hiking trails at Leka, rent the host's boat or kayak or go for a ride to watch the famous Ørnerovet. Then I welcome you to our great cabin in Kvaløysæter. A small spot in Flatanger, 11 mile northwest of Steinkjer and 8.5 mile southwest of Namsos. At the top of a mountain in a peaceful area with few cabin neighbors, you will find the beautiful gem in detached nature with good views of the sea and mountains.
