Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸

Flat 1 Uist Travel Accommodation (sleeps 4)

AnnaRating, 5 stars23 months ago
We had a brilliant experience staying with Archie and Peter. The flat was very neat and tidy with loads of space, with four of us staying we never felt like we were on top of each other. The flat is so well located for exploring the Uist island chain, and there's a well stocked Co-op within easy walk for the end of the day when you're ready to put your feet up.

Tern House, Isle of Skye, Luxury Self Catering

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If you really want to experience the Isle of Skye in all its grandeur, this is the place to do it! The drive to Waternish is gorgeous, rolling hills to your right, the water to your left. The house fits right in - walking into the light filled kitchen will make you gasp, I’m sure. The house is simply beautiful with everything you could need or want - five burner range, chefs table etc. The beds were comfortable and all of the rooms look out over the water. The highlight of the area for us was the Stein Inn pub - oldest pub on Skye. Great whiskey selection and terrific food. When planning your trip, make sure to secure a reservation at the Loch Bay restaurant. A Michelin starred experience we won’t soon forget. Both are right down the hill from the house. Make sure you stock up on groceries before you get there as there’s not anything available locally. I really loved the guidebook with all the itinerary recommendations. This a really special place!

Dark Skye Cottage

BrendaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Dark Skye Cottage is amazing. The view from the huge windows is incredible. We were blown away by the view and the surroundings when we arrived. The house is furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. All the appliances and furnishings are of high quality. We particularly appreciated the washer/dryer and laundry room. Although there were only two of us we also appreciated having a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. What set the house apart though is the amazing view. I wish we had more time and could have stayed longer and just enjoyed some relaxing days enjoying the view but there is so much to see on the Isle of Skye. We loved the location because it was so secluded and enjoyed watching the sheep below. It’s no wonder that Sally’s house stays booked so far in advance. If you can manage to find some availability, don’t hesitate to book. You will not regret it.

Cosy modern cottage, superb sea and mountain views

PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our first visit to Skye and a week made all the better by the property and location. Dorothy was on hand when needed and the property had everything we needed, was really well equipped and had a place for everything. It's at the quieter end of the island, which we liked, but does mean a few more miles to see some of the well known sites. Not an issue, as so many things to see and do on the way north and the scenery never got old. The only small issue for us, was the internet, although it is there, if you need to work while away, or check in with friends/relatives, any video meetings won't work, even some internet browsing, was very slow. Dorothy kindly offered her home and internet connection to use for a client meeting we had, but we re-arranged the meeting, as did not wish to impose on her kind hospitality. Property is 6 miles down a single lane road with passing places that is no issue, as long as you drive safely and navigate the pot holes and sheep. 5 Stars overall.

Cuillin View Ord 3 bedroom sleeps 6 logstove EV Ch

MaureenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fabulous time in a spectacular place! The house provided for all our needs and Ian was always quick to respond and ready to help. Unfortunately, my friends had to hire a car but there is now EV at the house. I understand there were a few issues with installing it but it was expensive hiring a car. We were blessed with wall to wall sunshine all week and would stay at Ian’s house in a heartbeat. Thank you 🙏

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gordon’s home. The setting is beyond beautiful- even better than the pictures. One of our favorite things to do for this trip was just sit on the deck and look at the amazing view. The home exceeded all expectations as well. One of the best AB&B’s!

The Old Workshop

SiddharthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An exceptional, unforgettable stay! One of the most beautiful BnBs we have ever lived in. An old workshop converted into a cozy, clean and inviting 3-bed home. Each space thoughtfully and tastefully done up. The first floor space is the best part of the entire home - offering brilliant views all day long. Every amenity was in mint condition. Caitlin has been a truly wonderful host, prompt in responses and with great recommendations. Wishing her all the best. Would love to come back and stay here.
