Fantastic little cabin in the woods. Loved the garden, the porch, the interior, everything was clean and Anita's a great host. We will definitely return to this lovely place!

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week in the "Old Painters House." Upon arrival it becomes clear: The location is an absolute dream. Quietly located, right on the water and away from the small country road, great for switching off. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. We especially liked the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns - right from bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small jetty to the Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. Although the nearest rolls are a bit far away, they are of the highest quality. Conclusion: A wonderful vacation home with a very special atmosphere, surrounded by a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

Beautiful house, wonderful and very quiet neighborhood by the water itself. We visited the place Giethoorn and then stayed with Geesje for one night. It was all exactly as described, the small cozy cottage is right on the farm, the shared toilets and showers are only a few meters away. There's even a common room. Geesje greeted us personally and made us breakfast the next morning. The place is quiet and idyllic, the grill restaurant (2 minutes away) is highly recommended. Thank you, dear Geesje, for sharing your home with us.

I really enjoyed it and am happy to recommend the apartment. My dog and I were guests in this beautiful, old and spacious building with great garden and outdoor seating for 2 months. There is everything you need to cook, relax or learn about the area. The contact with Andrea worked great. Thank you.
