Located in the small hamlet of Latga, in the heart of the Planèze in the green department of Cantal, just 15 km from Saint-Flour and the A75 motorway, our cottage will be your ideal place to cross the many beautiful paths of the surroundings. 30 minutes from the Lioran/35 minutes from Chaudes-Aigues and its thermal play center/30 minutes from the Viaduct de Garabit/1 hour from Clermont-Fd/2 hours from Rodez and Soulages museum

The shelter

Very cozy cottage in the center of Murat. Completely renovated, cute, well-equipped and ideally located, you'll love it! Winter: 10 minutes from the slopes of Lioran and Prat de Bouc, accessible by train or car. Snowshoeing, cross-country & downhill skiing, ice rink, truffade, aligot... The rest of the time: hundreds of hiking trails, legendary mountain passes to conquer by bike, zero mosquitoes, the most beautiful cows in the country, truffade, aligot... 🙂 Come on, it's going to be good!

Auvergne Holiday Cottage/Gite Sleeps 4

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Cozy space in a quiet area

Keep it simple at this peaceful place The accommodation includes a separate entrance to a house that gives you access to a bedroom, bathroom and sports area. In the bedroom you have a dining area and the possibility to heat your dishes thanks to the microwave and cutlery. However, there is no equipped kitchen or water point apart from the bathroom. If you are looking for calm, this is the ideal house at the foot of Puy Mary in the place called Louradou. at the start of various hikes, GR400, mountain biking, TRAIL, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. 15 km from Lioran ski resort (if road is clear). 15 minutes from the Jordanne Gorges, Lake Graves Grocery store, bakery, restaurant 1.5 km from the house. Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.

House of character located in the heart of Murat, in the heart of the Cantal mountains; A real haven of peace. It offers access to all amenities and local shops: bakery, butcher shop, bar, restaurant, supermarket. The house is located 8 km from the Lioran resort (15 min by car with shuttle option) and 5 min from Murat train station. Linens are not provided. Possibility to rent linens and towels at extra cost. Pets not allowed.

The house is located 10km away of the Super Lioran ski resort, which is also accessible by train (the Murat's train station is at 300m of the house, you can also access the ski resort with a ski lift right when you exit the train for 2.60€). Saint Flour at 26km. La Maison de la Faune at 100m.

Beautiful old house renovated in the old center of Murat with all shops 2 steps away. Mountain biking, blueberry picking, fishing and all mountain activities. The house is composed on the 1st floor of a living room with sofa bed, 1 dining room, 1 small equipped kitchen and on the 2nd floor of 2 bedrooms each with double bed including 1 queen size, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. Closed room for bicycles and skis.
