Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

In the area you can completely unwind; come for a nice walk and bike ride. In the village, there is the forest of Ype, and in Burgum, you will find sauna de Leeuwerikhoeve. By bus or car, you can be in Leeuwarden in no time to shop, go to the bios or have a bite to eat. Dokkum is also recommended, or Groningen.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Sleeping on the floor of a tea house - Teetún de Hollen -; a whole experience. Downstairs is a large living room with an open kitchen. The tea house is located in a rural area where there is a lot of cycling and hiking. The tea garden is therefore accessible to the guests in the summer months. Small scale, hospitality, accessibility are words that fit our location. Peace and space is what the guests find.
