A beautiful house in a beautiful place. Especially the large living space on the first floor, overlooking the water and a sheltered outdoor space to sit outside (already in April) stand out. The area is accessible, has a lot to do, also within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Airstream. It was 100% as shown in the pictures and was very inviting - we felt comfortable right away. In addition, I have to emphasize the top condition. The bed is very comfortable and there was everything you needed. Despite the fact that the Airstream is located on a private site by the water, near a parking lot, the design of the terrace offers privacy. We had great sunny days and were able to make good use of the terrace. Earnewald is a picturesque and relaxing place.

"Daalders slekje" is a great place to stay that is equipped with all the comforts. The house is beautiful and full of character. The associated mancave is a kind of private pub on the house, where it is good to stay. We enjoyed ourselves excellently. Tobi, the dog, thought it was fantastic. We ourselves enjoyed the jacuzzi, the surroundings, the atmosphere that the house breathes and your own little "retreat" in the form of the mancave where I could watch nice football:) Gelly is a warm and caring host who will help you to enjoy your time to the fullest. She leaves you completely free to enjoy your time, but is always available for any questions or assistance. In short, nothing but praise for our stay here.

We had a great weekend at Hiekes place with 10 people and 2 children. She was a great and nice hostess. The house was impeccable and there were countless employment opportunities for children as well. The surroundings and the house are simply fantastic.

Beautiful waterfront cottage. Fully equipped. We enjoyed the nature around the cottage. Also nice walking in the surrounding area. Also nice, within 15 minutes driving distance to the city. If you want to get away from it all in a simple cottage in a beautiful location, this is highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wil's cozy cottage. Peace, birdsong and nature, more a person should not have for a wonderful vacation. We cycled a round of Lauwersmeer, to the beautiful town of Dokkum and the pound's route in Alde Faenen. We followed the transfer to Schiermonnikoog and cycled through the beautiful nature and along the meadows. In the evening it was always nice to come back home. We also enjoyed an evening of the candle-lit hot tub. Thanks Will!

Definitely a five star, very peaceful setting but still close to the town. Able to park our rental bikes in a secure area. The rooms were spacious and lots of sunshine coming through the large windows which had a great view. Would certainly stay again!

Stayed 3 nights in this B&B. Upon arrival there was a nice Frisian Orange cake as a welcome. Beautiful, clean, bright, cozy house equipped with every comfort, good bed, nice clean bathroom. Patio garden doors with a private terrace and piece of the garden. Friendly owners, who were always concerned that we were lacking something. Had a few wonderful relaxing days and certainly repeatable.

Ingrid's tiny house is located on a campsite with lots of greenery. It is high quality and chicly furnished. At the reception of the campsite you can have breakfast or buy small items. There are even more shopping opportunities, restaurants, a harbor facility with boat rental, canoe rental, tourist information, hiking trails and nature experiences in the surrounding area. We enjoyed staying in the Earnewald Nature Park very much and highly recommend it.

I found everything about this property delightful. Any windmill in the Netherlands would be charming, but this one was especially so. The main living space was so cozy and rustic, I loved spending the evenings just sitting inside, reading, and admiring the space. Upstairs in the bedroom there was a skylight letting you see up into the old gears in the mill, I fell asleep every night looking up at the mechanisms. Despite its rustic charm, it had the modern conveniences you would want, fast WiFi (I took several Zoom calls with no issues) and a modern bathroom with underfloor heating. The location is beautiful, I had a great time walking through the surrounding area. Its very reachable without your own car, I took a taxi from Leeuwarden which only cost about 25 euros, and there is a shopping centre about 15mins away by bike. I had an absolute blast staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

because of a birthday, we were allowed to check in a little earlier, which was great. the car was allowed on the driveway. the cottage is spacious and is well insulated in a nice location. and Sietske and Jan are good host and lady friendly and helpful highly recommended.

We had a great stay, the cottage is equipped with everything you need, it is very cozy and warm and the view is just fantastic. Hagar was very accommodating, nice and always available, even when we had a small problem with our shower. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend the place, it was a wonderful holiday! The islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog are a must see :-)

We loved our stay at Ronald & Anita’s little house next door. We felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. It had a beautiful atmosphere, very cozy, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. We would recommend it to anyone who loves a quiet getaway and the chance to listen to the stillness of nature. We even saw a family of reindeer in the field right in front of the house! We’ll definitely come back for a longer stay. Thank you very much!

We felt right at home with Joost and Johan - they rented us the apartment over New Year and thus put a lot of trust in our larger group. With 8 people, we were able to spend a great evening in the house and also enjoy the beautiful surroundings on the lake. It was all lovingly furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped. Only regarding the oven we had to reschedule, as we had planned pizza, but the oven was more of a microwave. However, this was not a problem, instead there was pasta :) although we were a large group, the space was fully sufficient and we were completely satisfied. Thank you! We would recommend a stay and would love to come back:)

Sometimes you come to places you think "like this, I'm home". This place to stay is such a place for me. The house has all the comforts. The bedding is silky soft:-) I liked the view and the silence so much. With plenty of time and a little planning, it is easily accessible by public transport (from the Rotterdam area). But the icing on the cake is Griet and Reinoud. Warm, attentive and the full attention. I had all the privacy but there was also room for a nice conversation. I'm looking for a new date:-)

Lovely family vacation cottage on the waterfront!

We had a lovely stay at Hein, Doete and Lotte's cottage. We stayed there with our two sons (2.5 and 10 months) and for them both there was a nice bed and lots of toys, both inside and outside. The cottage is beautifully located with plenty to do in the area. The swimming pool on the campsite is nice, you can rent a boat and go boating, or use the bikes (both with child seat) to explore the area, which is really beautiful!
