Relax and unwind in the beautiful and quiet village of Tytsjerk. At our house, we have a beautiful accommodation with a homey, warm atmosphere where you will quickly feel at ease. In the area you can completely unwind; come for a nice walk and bike ride. In the village, there is the forest of Ype, and in Burgum, you will find sauna de Leeuwerikhoeve. By bus or car, you can be in Leeuwarden in no time to shop, go to the bios or have a bite to eat. Dokkum is also recommended, or Groningen.

Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The accommodation is sustainable (hardly any gas use) and equipped with air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms. In the winter months, it can be heated. There is a charging station for charging the electric car (cost).

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The accommodation is located in a rural area, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. Your four-legged friend is welcome! 🐾 For the first day, you can order a luxurious DIY breakfast for €17.50 (2 people).

Special B&B "Het Zevende Leven".

Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

Guesthouse with "hayloft" as 2nd bedroom

"As in Roaske" ("Like a Rose" in Frisian) is a cozy guest house/apartment with private entrance, located in a characteristic street of Burgum. The Waldhûske (built in 1918) where we live ourselves, served as a butcher shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Near the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

the Reiddomp on the water

The Reiddomp is a 2-person apartment in Earnewâld (Frl.), in the middle of Alde Feanen National Park. It offers a quiet and beautiful environment for a stay, waking up with a beautiful view. Chances are you'll see roe deer, but the bittern is not easily seen, but you will undoubtedly hear it. It is a rather shy bird that camouflages itself well among the reeds. The apartment is fully equipped. The surrounding area offers many sailing, hiking and biking possibilities.

Logement 105 is a centrally & quietly located comfortable 2-person guest house (50m2) in Burgum. You have plenty of privacy here. An excellent base for exploring the area on foot or by bike. Breakfast is not included. The city center is within walking distance and has 4 supermarkets and 2 bakeries. The cozy cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum are 15 km away. Within half an hour, you can drive to Holwerd and Lauwersoog for the boat to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.

(Safe for kids) The wood fired hot tub can be booked for €90,- for a weekend and €120 for a (mid)week This is spacious for 2 adults (2 kids can join) The sauna is included for free. Inside is a nice sitting corner, stunning views and a cozy dining room with comfortable chairs. The cottage is next to the nature campsite (only open in summer)
