Waterfront vacation rentals in Mumbles

We stayed at the Penthouse from the 15th-18th April and had a wonderful stay. The views from the lounge and main bedroom are stunning in both rain and sun. We are familiar with the area and found the apartment to be a perfect base with everything that we needed. The added touch of toiletries and condiments was a lovely bonus as we don't always find these in Air bnb's!. Mary's communication was fantastic and we had no need to make contact during our stay. Ian was a great host with super communication from the get go…a really lovely apartment, with tastefully interiors, all super clean, and lovely welcoming note and essentials like milk and Welsh cakes. A beautiful area…gorgeous coastal walk to Langland -particularly in the morning or evening light. I had a great stay. I will say, though, that while I’m pretty fit and agile, my continual up and down to my van (I came to paint the coast so was out and about - back and forth a lot…and had a little dog who needed walks etc) the 52 steps couldn’t be ignored : ). However, this is communicated in the description…so no complaints. The flat being so nice did make up for this…so thanks Ian!

The apartment is fantastic - beautifully decorated and equipped with the most incredible view of Langland Bay and beyond. Langland, Mumbles and the whole coastline are stunning.

Michelle was really friendly and proactive. The apartment was amazing and really comfortable. There were extra in the apartment such as tea and coffee and Michelle left us a bottle of milk!! Really lovely flat. Great stay

Really great location and great time we had. Simon was very responsive and helpful during the stay. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a stay and me and family will return for stay if we are visiting again.

A lovely home from home, the apartment is furnished well, with everything you could need at hand in the kitchen. Helen and Jonathan were extremely helpful and responsive, wonderful hosts. A very cozy, warm apartment and kept very clean. Ideal location for early morning walk along the beach front or lazy stroll as the sunsets, nice views and plenty of fresh air. Parking for 1 car allocated and right on the door step also handy. If we visit the area again we would look to stay here again.

We stayed for a weekend and everything was perfect about the apartment. Instruction to get in were clear and easy to follow and we didn't need to contact Susan at all after booking. The flat was clean and welcoming and perfect and the view and location were great. Plus, the Welsh Cakes and fizz on arrival were a good touch. Very quiet and peaceful and the balcony gave us a good view of the sea (and stars) on our first night. We consider ourselves lucky to have found a free weekend and hope to stay again when visiting my mother in law.

Suzanne and Mark were very friendly, gave us a small booklet containing all the local go to's. Being greeted by their 2 dogs at the gates was always a warm welcoming. The welcome package was a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

Johnathan was a very responsive host. The property was ideal for our larger family. The property is situated a stones throw away from the most beautiful beach. The rooms are clean, light and airy. All bathrooms were equipped with soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Johnathon even gave us a late check out on the Sunday morning because of the weather which was very much appreciated

Another fantastic few days at Vera’s beautiful place at Horton. The house is immaculate and has recently been decorated so it looks even better. You cannot beat the location, right on the beach with amazing panoramic views. If you want a quiet break, with great walks and a beach front location this would be hard to beat.

A great short stay, in a clean, tidy and well maintained property. Close to the sea, bars, restaurants and the city centre. Richard is a very helpful host who was always in communication, when needed.

Talya's home was delightful. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location was great with very easy access to the bay and shops. The quick route past the castle was an enjoyable stroll through woodlands. There were plenty of places to eat and Gin and Juice was a favourite. Talya was very responsive and quickly answered any query I had. The beds were comfortable although the single was rather firm for my adult daughter. There is a steep flight of steps to the front door which could be an issue for those with mobility issues. We all had a very pleasant stay and would come again. Thank you

Stayed for a night due to wedding celebration at nearby The Courtyard. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a fantastic location close to many places of interest. Diolch Anwen!

We had a lovely stay. Spotless house with everything we needed and a beautiful view of the estuary through the big windows. A short walk from the castle ruins above the shoreline and lots of walks. Highly recommended. Many thanks!

The Cottage was stunning and in a fantastic location. Mostly everything you needed was there even bath towels. The rooms were lovely and well presented. The place was welcoming and clean and the view over the river/estury was amazing. Such a peaceful location ideal for families right next to the town, walks, pubs, restaurants, shop, castle and the Dylan Thomas boathouse. Parking is limited around so the 6 car driveway was useful. Communication was excelkent too. We would really recommend.

The apartment was perfect for us for our few days away in Mumbles. It was just as described, really beautifully decorated and a very relaxing place to spend our evenings after a long day of walking, with views across the water. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed. We appreciated the recommendations left in the guidebook. The location was great for pottering to shops and bars too. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the coast to Caswell Bay and it worked perfectly to be able to hop on the bus back to the centre of Mumbles. Would definitely recommend!

What a fabulous 5 days we had at this Airbnb. Fantastic setting, parked the car and left it there safe in the underground car park and walked, Uberd and bussed the rest of the time. Everything you could possibly want is in the apartment, appreciated the welcome pack, lovely comfy beds, fantastic rainfall shower in the en suite, private garden to relax in and Gus the Westie loved looking out of the window. Great places to visit and eat at, absolutely loved Mumbles. Highly recommended. Try Cwtchina for the most fabulous authentic food and warm welcome. Thanks to Jan and Wayne. A great apartment in an even better location. Right on the coastal path and Loughor estuary the views are amazing and change completely with the weather and times of day. We spent one night on the balcony watching the stars and some meteors and the next watching a distant storm. Make sure to pack some binoculars. The apartment is clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities and then some. A great kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. The three floors up might be challenging for some, I had a moon boot on during our stay, took a while to get up but the stairs are nicely spaced. it's a great place to go and chill and a great base to visit local attractions or to just wander down to the beach. Would for sure go back again. especially when I can walk more(at all 😂)

Great stay in a perfect location, especially to sit in the sunshine and watch the world go by on the promenade and beach. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment and location with fabulous views. Host was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Well appointed kitchen too and the balcony was a nice addition too. The car parking space was thankfully a large one.
