The quiet location directly on the nature reserve does not exclude a very good transport connection. Public transport to the city center and the main train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot. By car, you can reach the A52 in about 3 minutes. Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

We offer a beautiful apartment on the edge of the forest near the Neandersteig and the Radpanoramaweg in Heiligenhaus. The apartment is completely newly renovated. The highlight of the 60 sqm apartment is the 40 sqm roof terrace, where you can enjoy the sun all day. The apartment is located on the second floor of a two-family house. 11 steps lead to the house entrance. The surrounding cities of Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal can be reached by car in approx. 30 minutes.

The Max Planck Institute is a 5-minute walk, as is the forest and the Ruhr! There are many excursion destinations for all ages!

The small town center with various shops can be reached in 15 minutes on foot.
