The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A ping-pong table, a foosball table and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Unsere 120 qm Ferienwohnung liegt in einem 4500 qm großen Gartens, umringt von der Natur, zwischen Burg- und Kellerwald. Der Garten ist von einem Landschaftsgärtner vor 30 Jahren angelegt worden. Hier können Sie Ruhe und Entspannung finden oder von hier aus schöne Ausflüge nach Marburg oder dem nahegelegenen Edersee machen. Der See bietet eine Vielzahl an Unternehmensmöglichkeiten. Sie können auch gerne Touren mit unseren Fahrrädern starten oder wandern und abends in unserer Sauna entspannen.

The 37 m² one-room apartment is located on the first floor of a farmhouse in the village center of Marburg-Hermershausen and is accessible through the shared staircase. Real wood parquet, tiled floor as well as a solid wood kitchen, solid wood furniture and natural textiles invite you to feel good. The spacious bathroom has a floor-level shower, the kitchen offers a double-burner ceramic hob, microwave and exhaust hood. Wi-Fi is available. If necessary, a washing machine can also be used.

Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Bike charging station directly at the apartment. Then a sauna session? If you are interested, it is possible to take a tour with my US Oldies ;-)

Auch die Innenstadt und der Bahnhof sind nur ca. 30 Gehminuten entfernt. Domplatzkonzerte, Musicals im Stadtschloss oder auch die Veranstaltungen am der Hessentag 2026 könnt ihr super in 2 Minuten mit dem Bus oder entspannt zu Fuß erreichen. Bei uns habt ihr es ruhig aber trotzdem stadtnah.

Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

In the garden, a cozy sauna with pool can be used. Children can and are allowed to live out their natural urge to move and play. Parents, of course, too. Alternatively, relaxing walks or excursions (e.g. canoe trips on the Lahn) are possible. The university town of Gießen is around the corner!

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals.
