5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

Where to start? I truly can't say enough good things about this property. It exceeded expectations in every way. From start to finish, our time here was a delight. Amanda was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location is remote, and a bit of adventure to get to, but Amanda had communicated that and we were prepared with the proper rental car that made it a breeze. The house is beautifully appointed, has every amenity, and lots of perfect spaces for both quiet moments and areas to gather with your group. The outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely, beautifully landscaped, and the views are spectacular. Book this place; you won't be sorry.

Wow what a fabulous stay ! San Gusme and its surrounding area is beautiful and we felt so lucky to be able to stay in San Gusme itself . Elvira was super helpful and had great local recommendations for wine tasting etc .

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Viciomaggio. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, geräumig und versprüht einen tollen Charme (restaurierte Ölmühle). Antike Einrichtungsgegenstände sind mit moderner Ausstattung (Küche, Badezimmer) kombiniert. Die Kommunikation mit Giovanni war freundlich und unkompliziert über den Chat. Ein privater Parkplatz befindet sich direkt an der Wohnung. Die Wohnung bietet einen sehr guten Ausgangspunkt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Florenz, Arezzo und das Val d'Orcia haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! :)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Casafredda. The property is really stunning, set within its own grounds of olive groves and beautiful gardens. It’s a little bit away from the village so it’s very peaceful and has wonderful views across the valley. Inside it’s filled with art which gives it a great sense of homeliness. The facilities are impressive, especially the kitchen. All of the rooms have their own character and are well thought out. The local area is great for relaxing stays, with a small shop and restaurant just a few minutes walk. For those who want to do more, it’s very easy to get to Arezzo. Finally, thank you so much to Sergio and Michele who were the perfect hosts in every way. Extremely friendly, full of recommendations. They even came to pick us up when we got off at the wrong train stop! Would definitely come again, cannot recommend highly enough.

Vila Lama is een geweldig adres voor een langdurige vakantie in de omgeving van Arrezo. Stefano is uiterst behulpzaam, attent en is zeer begaan met zijn huurders om hen een fijn verblijf te bezorgen. De villa ligt zeer gunstig ten opzichte van de fraaie bezienswaardigheden zoals antiekmarkt in Arrezo, Poppi Castle, La Verna Santuario Francescano, ( écht heel bijzonder ! ), Cortona, Anghiari . De villa is zeer groot met fraaie en authentieke details die het verblijf zeer bijzonder maken. Gezellige keuken met vaatwasser en reuze openhaard van formaat Fiat 500, fijne bedden, riante badkamer met toilet op beidde verdiepingen. Buiten een mooi overdekt terras met tafel en stoelen. Heerlijk in de schaduw genieten van ontbijt. Auto kan worden geparkeerd op de oprit naar huis. Het huis ligt aan de voorkant van een voormalig klooster. Klooster is nu een ruïne, met fraaie hoekjes, poorten en deuren om te ontdekken/schilderen/fotograferen. Kortom een heel bijzonder en geweldig adres.

Sehr schöne Wohnung inmitten der Olivenhaine. Der Ausblick ist gigantisch. Abends kamen Stechmücken hervor, was jedoch der tollen Lage in der Natur geschuldet ist. Ins Stadtzentrum braucht man mit dem Auto circa 10 min, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind zu weit entfernt. Unsere Gastgeber konnten uns immer direkt weiterhelfen und uns gute Tipps geben. Ein tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, die wir weiterempfehlen können.
