Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mountain View

Bob's place is the perfect private spot to hangout at between exploring the nearby cities. I really enjoyed my time there and props to Bob for not only having a kitchen stocked with utensils and gadgets, however, also a little bit of food, which was very thoughtful! I would highly recommend Bob's place for the traveler who is out and about exploring during the day, and looking for a private and relaxing spot during the evening and night. :)

We needed a quiet clean comfortable retreat during and after my difficult surgery. Location to Stanford Hospital excellent. House very calm quiet and healing- squeaky clean. Beds were like falling into clouds. So comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and amenities thoughtfully and generously available. The front porch and lovely private front yard were wonderful spots to sit when weather was nice. We can’t praise Maggie enough for her hosting. Responsive, kind, caring, flexible. First class all the way.

My team had a wonderful time at Stefan's place! The ocean views are magical and the house is very spacious. Incredible spot about an hour away from SF and Palo Alto. Stefan was very communicative and friendly. Check-in and check-out were simple. Very clear house rules. No complaints at all! We will definitely be back.

Very thankful for this quaint experience! The kids loved the toys and the very kind neighbor helped make sure we had chargers for all the electric toys.

The apartment is ideally located for visiting Stanford and is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and flowers, and lots of birds. The host is very friendly and responsive

Loads of interesting things to do nearby. It was our first time to the San Francisco area and we enjoyed our stay! Your place was very convenient to all our activities. The information about Redwood forests was helpful and we ended up At Purisima Creek Redwood preserve after spending some time at Half Moon Bay! Both fabulous places and close to our location! I love Tom's place! This was my second time staying. It is a beautiful oasis. Super quiet, peaceful, comfortable space, perfect for writing, working, and rest away from the city, yet still convenient to all the amenities of Los Altos. Tom is a lovely host and goes out of his way to be accommodating. This is one of only a few affordable and high quality Airbnbs in the area. Highly recommend!

This is the third time we stay in Tracy's place, and it's always a great pleasure. The location is great, the house is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Tracy responds quickly to any messages and really makes us feel at home. Will keep coming back :)

This place is great. Nice patio area with chairs. Bathroom is spacious with his and hers sinks. Bed is super comfortable, memory foam. Host is super friendly and helpful with whatever you need.

Our stay here was amazing, the space was clean, bright with lots of natural light, amazing private backyard. We came with 2 little kids and all had a great time, they provided us a crib which was ready to go when we arrived. They had so much fun playing outside! The hosts really thought about their guests and had so many household essentials available. Thank you!

We stayed here for a month, and it was a great experience overall! What really stood out was Michael’s kindness and attentiveness - he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. He provided lots of essentials for our toddler and even replaced the shower head, which made a huge difference for our extended stay. He was always quick to respond, sent someone to fix things the same day, and restocked kitchen and bathroom essentials whenever needed. The place is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and was spotless - seriously, one of the cleanest Airbnbs we've stayed in! The kitchen is well-stocked, which was perfect since we cooked a lot. You do hear some noise from upstairs during the day, but they keep quiet at night, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Thanks again, Michael, for making our stay so comfortable!

Flew to Atherton from Hawaii-my daughter graduated from Menlo College. Ernesto and Judy home was perfect for us. It was close to college campus. We had a total of 9 that flew in to celebrate. The home was spacious, clean, and fit our needs. They communicated well and responded quick. I would recommend this home and I would rent with Ernesto and Judy again!

Everything about my guests’ stay was great. No complaints, only gratitude for a nice, clean, safe guest house where they could walk to groceries, coffee, restaurants in the neighborhood. We had a great stay in San Jose with this very convenient home. It was spotless, well stocked, nicely furnished and felt very safe and secure. There was a nice private area in the back to sit and visit/eat and enjoy the flowers and lemon trees. We were in the back home unit and more family were in the front unit. It worked great with lots of room for everyone and privacy or quiet when needed. We were within easy walking distance to several of the events we were in town to attend. Airport trips are so easy. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping. We also had a fun trip to Hidden Hollow. Tina was so helpful and responsive. She made it so we didn't have to worry about our lodging and could just concentrate on our family get together. Thank you, Tina.

The place was comfortable and great for an extended stay! Tidy, cozy, and great location! Very clear instructions for the home and check in. Any time i had questions, they were very quick and responsive! I would definitely stay here again!

Will and Jane were excellent hosts. The back house is light filled and spotless. It’s comfortable and well organized. It was peaceful, tucked away in a garden! I loved feeding the fish. Both Will and Jane were responsive and offered a great recommendation. I know I’ll stay here every time I come to San Francisco!

Great location. Fairly clean and worth the money. Some spiders in the corner and the shower is slow to drain. Other than that, would book again!
