I had a great stay with my family! Nice house with beautiful view of the fjord and mountains. Lots of space, large bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Short drive to the city center, and a short walk to the local grocery store. Nice outdoor area. Would book again.

This house is lovely in a beautiful location, just up the road from Hellesylt and the Geiranger fjord ferry. To je is very responsive and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this house for others.

A wonderful place to stay. With large porch right at the sea. Everyone slept well in good beds. Spacious bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Only note is steep path down to the house from the parking lot, as we had with my elderly mother. And interior staircase was somewhat difficult for an older lady. But with good help, it also went well. Would love to come again.

We loved our stay here!!! The place was as described and more ♥️ ! You don’t need to go anywhere else, just enjoy the house and the view. Thea is a great host! Beautiful modern home with brand new appliances and incredible views and location. You have an unobstructed view of Geirangerfjord and a nearby waterfall.

I adored everything about the villa: the rooms, the location, and the view. Everything was flawless. The cabin was impeccably clean. Liv welcomed us warmly and was consistently supportive.

Beautiful location right on the sea

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s house! The place is cozy, very beautiful, and exceptionally clean. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful, and all the little details were thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Had a brilliant stay together with our extended family, mine of us in total. A great space for young and old. Very good communication with host. Would definately reccomend.

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
