OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. The apartment is beautiful and has the best view! It is central in Molde, on the west coast of Norway. It is 88 m2, and is suitable for 4 persons. Two can sleep in the Master bedroom, 1 in the guest bedroom & 1 on the sofa in the big livingroom. I also have 2 air mattresses if there is more than 4 people (max 8 adults+1 kid). Free parking outside and busses going. Possible to walk to the center of Molde with shopping streets, malls and restaurants with a nice view over the fjord and mountains.

Do you have a dream of waking up to the sound of seagulls and fishingboats? And maybe catch a glimpse of an eagle on your way to take a morningswim in the fresh fjord? In the evening deer and hedgehogs might show up just outside the terrace as you watch the sun go down. Within a 30 minutes drive you can find plenty of possibilities to experience the Norwegian nature with cute puffins, exciting trails, deep fjords and the rough ocean. Our home is the perfect place to make your dream come true!

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!
