I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Chathura’s place is very close to the beach around 8 mnts walking from turtle beach , the famous Hikkaduwa beach is also within walking proximity . The AC can keep you cool in summer & they have kitchen along with basic equipment’s as well . Size of room is decent enough . Free Washing machine is a big plus point , they provide detergent as well. Now the Host Chathura is an amazing fellow , He is a great host with super supportive nature , he greets us with cinnamon Tea & provide all necessary information about the vicinity. He also gave 5% discount for the Water Jars . The biggest Pros I would say is His smile & helping nature as a host . I would definitely recommend him with blind 👁️.

We stayed at this beautiful villa in Sri Lanka with a group of six, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the private swimming pool — perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The villa is located right on the beach, which made for stunning views and peaceful vibes. However, one thing to note is that the sea was too rough for swimming during our stay due to strong waves. So while the beach setting was beautiful, we mostly stuck to the pool for swimming. That said, everything else was excellent, and we had a great time. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing getaway in Sri Lanka!

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

We really loved staying here. The house was spacious, nice big bedrooms and beds and the best feature was the pool looking straight onto a clean, empty, beautiful beach. We spent hours on the terrace and in the pool. Martin was always quick to respond and Mr. Sampath and the staff at the villa were always very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the Sri Lanka curry option on the menu was most enjoyable. I’d strongly recommend Villananda to anyone thinking of booking.

They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from the little details in the space to helping us with local recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

We had an incredible three-night stay at Sahan’s villa in Weligama—honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick tuk tuk ride to amazing surf spots and great restaurants. The villa itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The interiors were spotless and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning worked perfectly (a real bonus in the Sri Lankan heat), the beds were large and super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and luxurious. Housekeeping was top-notch throughout our stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay in Weligama.

Fantastic place, beautiful pool and gardens. So easy to flow right from living area to pool. Not right on the beach but access very easy through adjoining vacant property of same owners. Staff super attentive. Lovely village of Ballapitiya only 5 mins walk up a quiet lane way, with a multitude of eating options. We loved this village as we seemed to be the only tourists, locals genuine and friendly.

Airbnb was a dream to be in. It is beautiful, clean, super equipped and has a fantastic location, as well as a fantastic pool. We were completely delighted and our expectations were even exceeded. Anyone coming to Sri Lanka should stay here. Awesome place I've ever had. The on-site staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There is no need for improvement here.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Simply the best property we have ever hired on Airbnb or elsewhere. The house is AMAZING. Service was impeccable. Really perfect. Thanks Colleen and thanks to Nissanka and Dammika for their help throughout our stay in Galle.

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

Such a lovely stay a highlighting our long trip to Sri Lanka. Loved the house, the staff at the property, and the spa next door. Loved having our own kitchen (it’s fully stoked), and as a couple to have privacy away from the busy town when we wanted. Location to the beach and other walking distant destinations was perfect. Super happy we stayed here highly recommend

I stayed for two weeks at this beachfront villa in Ambalangoda, and it was an incredible experience. The villa is spacious, with large rooms and plenty of space to relax. Having a parking area was a huge advantage, especially for my rented motorcycle. Denuka, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. He quickly addressed my requests via WP and ensured a smooth stay. Another highlight was Denuka’s uncle, who spends most of the day near the swing in the front yard. He is incredibly kind and always ready to help whenever needed. Exploring the surroundings by motorcycle was a fantastic experience—I highly recommend it. Overall, this villa is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

The Palm Beach Villa was absolutely amazing! Piyal, the house manager, was waiting for us at the airport, and drove us to the Villa, even tho we arrived early in the morning. There was a wonderful breakfast waiting for us upon our arrival. Piyal and Sujami took such great care of us during the day, and Sumith was there all night, which made us feel very safe. We weren't expecting the high level of pampering we received from the 3 of them. It really made our stay truly relaxing. The Villa and grounds are beautiful! The dogs were an added surprise, and were definitely part of the experience :) The pool was heavenly! The beach was right there!!! and was so beautiful and virtually empty! Watching and helping with the morning fishermen was an experience we will never forget! The location is so private, but close enough to many of the island's attractions. Piyal was a gracious host, driver, and AMAZING cook!!! Sujami was so sweet and helpful. Sumith was great! Will def be back!

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

Good place for family holidays. They have a chef who will plate some amazing food.
