Romain received us warmly. The house really felt like a home. It was nicely decorated and even had a garden. Everything was available. The location is the perfect base from which to explore the region. E.g. the Utah and Omaha landing beaches are just 30 minutes away. Caen, Rouen and Mont Saint Michel are a little further away, but still easily accessible. We definitely recommend Romain as a host.

This was my second time staying at this charming home, and a third for a friend. We like that it is a good base for exploring that part of Normandy. It's quiet and comfortable with a nice wood stove, and we took advantage of the well equipped kitchen to have dinners at home. And Ferdinand the donkey was a plus. I liked waking up naturally, but bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to the morning light.

The place is ideal is ideally placed when looking to recharge and be in tune with nature! It's clean, functional, very cocooning ... Alexandra is very responsive to messages! A beautiful area to visit 😍
