Hello and bonjour, My name is Nicola and I'm Scottish but love the fantastic countyside here in beautiful Burgundy. Our cute house with terrace and mezzanine is nestling under the magnificent Chateauneuf en Auxois. In 2 minutes you can walk along the Canal De Bourgogne taking in the wonderful views. Lots of interestings places to visit,wine to drink, markets, restaurants, castles, nature. Beaune 25 minutes, Dijon 40. Local market in summer in Pouilly en Auxois on a Friday. A bientot, Nicola :)

Stunning views across the Auxois countryside from both house and garden. Very comfortable double bedroom with private entrance & ensuite bathroom in a sleepy hamlet. The heated garden kitchen can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden & deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views; off road parking. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

We had a wonderful family weekend in this beautiful accommodation, very clean and peaceful (the neighborhood is also very friendly). The house is well-equipped, and nicely decorated, suitable for large families. The garden is large and pleasant for lunch in the sun, and the interior also with its 2 living rooms for rainy weather. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the lake, for swimming and running around Only regret: not renting it for one more night A big thank you to the host who did everything to make this stay go smoothly (very responsive, accommodating for checkout, and spontaneously shared their good addresses & little madeleines) - these are the touches that make the difference

The little cottage was extremely pleasant to stay in! We were pleasantly surprised as the photos don’t do the place justice. It was so cosy, homely and had so much character! The burner gave the cottage so much atmosphere and made it feel very cosy. The bathroom was very nice, the kitchen is small but functional and I happily prepared meals in the space! The bedroom was comfortable and nice and quiet during the night. Thyda was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations! Without her recommendations, we would have missed lots of local places to go! Thyda’s recommendations filled our Itinerary and each suggestion was great!! I can imagine the cottage and the area would come alive in the summer and would be an amazing stay!! Highly recommend!

We stayed at the property with four adults, four children and a dog. Serge welcomed us and showed us everything. The accommodation is excellently equipped and offers plenty of space including a well-kept large garden. Everything in the place was very neat and clean. A bakery, Italian restaurant and supermarket are directly opposite, which is very convenient. We really enjoyed the days here and can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

A Pentecost weekend that rhymes with "Thank you our lovely hosts": We had a great extended weekend of reunions with a friend, during this Burgundian getaway. La Closerie des Sources is a haven of peace, in a green setting. The cottage is very comfortable: it is furnished in a contemporary way, with great taste and has high quality amenities. The bedding is of exceptional quality in each room and the towels are classy and cozy. What more can I say: Sacha and her parents Patricia and Marcel are very welcoming and accommodating. The pool is a real plus in this nice, well-maintained green space. The setting is idyllic, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a quiet time with family and/or friends.
