Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Montevideo Department

Without words, the attention of Eduardo and his wife is excellent, to that by adding how beautiful the house is really without words. The house just like the photos, clean, well organized. Close to supermarkets, pharmacies, foreign exchange houses, veterinarians, restaurants; the nearest beach is 5 min away, but if they go with children, but if they go with children you have to respect the traffic lights so the nearest beach would be 15 minutes away. Very happy with the attention of Eduardo and his wife ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you.

Incredibly charming apartment right on the main walking street directly up from the port market. You enter almost through a cafe patio, and the location can’t be beat! The apartment itself is exactly as pictured and the roof deck is fantastic for sitting out in the sun.

Maria Guillermina and her husband were very kind. They waited for us even though we were late and welcomed us very warmly. They explained how everything worked. The house is very nice and comfortable. The surroundings are very peaceful and very accessible by car. They were always available for our needs. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Montevideo and it was wonderful! The apartment is well maintained, easy to find, and very comfortable. The couch and bed were both super comfy, and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The shower was also very nice and spacious (and had a fast water heater as well as great water pressure). I loved that the sunshades were remote controlled and the patio was lovely for hanging out on. Zafri is a very proactive and communicative host and was always helpful if we needed anything. The location is also great—it was on a very quiet street, but was within walking distance to everything we needed. We also appreciated the flexible check in time on arrival and we found the unit very easy to find. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

We loved this home. The place was spacious with big windows on a quiet street. The internet worked just fine, which I needed for work. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed (buses, grocery stores, beach, cafes, etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Dana's place is wonderful!!! It must have been or must be in a magazine!! All the details are perfect, functional, beautiful, comfortable!!! The region is being renovated, so there are many old buildings which have been restored to their glory!! There are building still in the process, but things are being done. Tthis place is on the corner of a pedestrian road, which has many bars and restaurants, just two blocks away from Mercado del Puerto and a few more to both sides from the beautiful Rambla. There are many places to buy groceries and historical palces to visit all around. We were there from Sunday to Tuesday afternoon, and the noise was not very loud, it was quiet during the night. There were some people who stay around at night, but I think it is not dangerous. Dana was wonderful, Jeff helped us in and let us feel at home.

Excellent PH. First floor by stairs, but very easily accessed. The location is ideal to go to Parco Rodó or Punta Carretas, and very close to Pocitos beach as well. Very recommended.

We had stayed at Javier's place more than 2 years before and liked it so much that we decided to go back. Excellent location close to restaurants, bars and ammenities, great space. very easy to get everywhere in Montevideo. The weather was incredibly hot, yet the bedroom had a great air-conditioning and we managed to sleep peacefully. I REALLY recommend it.

Both the accommodation and the treatment of its host, Martin, are excellent. The house is beautiful and is always in good condition. Martin was always available for whatever you needed. I can say that I would go back to this place without even thinking about it.

Clarita's house is beautiful! It has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It is fantastic for a family vacation, with a dedicated playroom, pool, and a backyard with a playhouse. The neighbourhood is very safe and peaceful. Clarita was super responsive and helpful, giving us great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is beautiful! Much nicer in person is very big. The neighborhood is very quiet we charm! Cristian is excellent! We had a problem with the pool but I'll fix it right away! 100% recommended. We'll be back soon

I am Brazilian and my first time in Uruguay and on the app and I was very privileged! Super receptive Amphritrians! Even I don't speak Spanish (just scratching) was super quiet our communication! Max gave us tips from other destinations we had in mind, made a delicious afternoon coffee! I only have to thank you for welcoming us into your home, for the reception, conversation and company! They are excellent , super relaxed! They won our heart ❤️

Stunning, just like in the photos. Martin is very helpful. Neighborhood may look rough around the edges, but I stayed for a month and had zero problems, even coming back late at night. Location is convenient to lots of things. I recommend: Las Cabras cafe; Candy Bar (lunches; tapas menu in the evenings ); Macoco “books and coffee” out on Maldonado. I rented bikes several times from El Bici Club Uruguayo and rode on the Rambla, which is great and was recently profiled in the New York Times. El Callejón, a tango and flamenco bar, is very nearby. The best way to walk to the Old City is on Soriano. Within the Old City (Ciudad Vieja) a lot feels touristy but go directly to either Cafe Brasileiro or better yet, another lunch place, La Farmacia (they are quite close to each other). You won’t regret it.

My first experience on Airbnb, I must admit that at first I was nervous about renting since we are two young women, but the host was super friendly and nice. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights, we were able to take our brothers to spend some time, obviously we asked about it before, we had a very nice time, the pool was divine, a lot of green space, the villa was excellent, we were given our space and privacy, the full kitchen was available, the stay was wonderful, and on the last day there were guests of the host who stayed all afternoon, (we were a little embarrassed to socialize with them, since we did not expect unknown people). I recommend going by vehicle, since the nearest store is a 5-minute drive away. Also, the stay was excellent, we would definitely go again.
