Vacation rentals with a patio in Monteverde

oscar’s place was a dream! we stayed in santa elena for a month and had to book this airbnb last minute, just a few days before our monteverde leg ended because our previous airbnb had a lot of issues. walking into oscar’s apartment really felt like one big relieving exhale. i felt safe, everything was super clean, it was spacious, and just a short walk to the city center. there’s also a restaurant/bar nearby - clouds and coffee - that had a great happy hour and delicious food. the wifi was reliable, the kitchen was equipped, and the water pressure was strong with plenty of hot water. definitely recommend! i even ended up accidentally leaving my kindle and oscar was kind enough to offer to mail it to me in uvita. can’t say enough positive things about the experience!

Great location with an even better view. You can get a great view of the sunset. Check in/out was easy and smooth. No need for AC at the location since it’s up in the mountains. Close to town and other outdoors activities. Would recommend!

Awesome spot in Monteverde. There’s two bedrooms with three beds, and two bathrooms. The place is laid out well with a nice dining area, open kitchen with everything you need to cook, and plenty of space. The kitchenware is high quality and easy to use. Parking is off-street in the family garage. The family took care to make everything warm and welcoming upon arrival. Stacy’s family, Juan Carlos and Giselle met us and took care of everything. Juan Carlos mentioned he is a local guide and we took him up on a night tour. It was fantastic! We highly recommend this Airbnb and, if you’re looking for a local guide, consider going with Juan Carlos if he has availability!

Josue was an amazing Host and very attentive! The place was clean and in a good location. All that you could want from an airbnb at great value for money.

This is truly the most stunning place I have ever stayed in. I was initially hesitant to spend so much on accommodation, but it was totally worth it and the location, facilities and view absolutely justify the cost. I strongly recommend this place if you want a truly unique and private experience. Host communication was brilliant from the beginning and Licni was helpful and even arranged a taxi for us. The property was very clean, had good air conditioning, good bug screens, the hot tub worked perfectly, and the cargo net was a unique experience. We had the monkeys both mornings on the roof, and toucans, peccaries etc. visit the property throughout. This was truly a great place to stay for our honeymoon, and I would absolutely visit again.

Place was exactly as described and felt even more spacious than in the pictures. Modern and spotless. Jacuzzi tub was a plus after a long day of hiking. Convenient if you have a car and want something a bit more remote but still 5-10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants.

Loved our stay here! The space is super cute, well-decorated, and perfect for our family of 3. We were surprised by how busy Monteverde felt. We anticipated that the town would be sleepy and spread out, but it was anything but that. Monteverde was extremely busy, full of shops and restaurants for tourists. I remember when booking this airbnb I thought it might be inconvienent to be outside of the center of town, but it was such a treat to be able to leave the busy area and enjoy the relative quite (although there was a lot of road noise) and beautiful sunsets the western edge of town offered. Daniella was super helpful when it came to booking experiences. She helped us book both a hanging bridges tour and a night hike. Our only note is that the bed was very firm, which we didn't like.

This was a nice, quiet location just outside of the ruckus of Santa Elena business area. There was more than enough great restaurants, coffee, stores, and sites within walking distance. We especially loved Restaurante Delucia, a 3 minute walk. My wife and I like quiet and private, this was perfect. Only 3 individual units. #1 was the last one from the gate, so no one walking by. Clean, comfortable and all the amenities to stay a week plus. We loved to share the big window seat for morning coffee or an evening drink. Easy check in/out and Danilo was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay at Monteverde Cloud Forest Lookout! The house is very spacious, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks after a day of adventure. We also hiked on the adjacent trails to the waterfall which is a hidden gem. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde.

ENCHANTING. We have stayed at many great air bnbs and this one takes the cake. Tucked away in the mountains, gorgeous landscape with breathtaking views. I will absolutely take the memories shared here with my family for the rest of my life. Nelson was so helpful and communicative. Waking up to the animals grazing and the cutest little pup made it all the more amazing.

Daiana’s place is magical!! Nothing short of perfection. My wife and I travel quite a bit and are huge fans of houses and great architecture. This gem stands out. First of all the location is unreal- you are in the clouds and the views can’t be portrayed in a photograph- you have to see it to believe it. The house is designed perfectly- each detail is so well thought of! The colors, the wood, the outdoor decks. The showers are divine. The kitchen and living room are so beautiful. You are close to everything Monteverde has to offer yet so private like you feel you’re in the most remote location in the world. I really think the pictures don’t do this place justice- it is way more beautiful than the best photo you can take. Thanks again for everything- hopefully will be back to enjoy this again🙏🏼

La casa es muy agradable, amplia, luminosa, con un corredor amplio con vistas hermosas. Es un lugar que invita a estar y, que permite desconectar.

Really great stay and a very nice sheltered conservatory style place with a gas fire pit (easy to use) easy to check in, lovely complimentary marshmallows, easy check in and great spot for the local Italian but only 10 minutes to central Monteverde.

Like others have mentioned, the pictures of this place do not do it justice! It is truly a stunning home. For those have mentioned bugs, you’re in the mountains in a rainforest-there’s going to be insects. However, there was not big bugs inside the house. Location is convenient to the town of Santa Elena and surrounding sites. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at Jarvey and Flor’s! Modern, new, excellently equipped house. The view from the master bedroom and patio was spectacular. It felt like you were one with nature. We spent our evenings soaking in the spanking new jacuzzi taking in all the sights and sounds around us after a day of sightseeing. Jarvey was extremely responsive and helpful. We even met him on our way out and were so touched by his hospitality and warmth. The house has everything you need, they even provided a hamper with breakfast items and wine which made the stay even more special. Downtown and restaurants were a quick 5-10min drive away. Couldn’t recommend their place more for your stay in Monteverde!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

El alojamiento de Cristian cumplió todas nuestras expectativas. La descripción y las fotos coinciden con el alojamiento. Es muy cómodo , con parking privado, piscina y vistas al volcán Arenal . Muy cercano a cualquier actividad que quieras hacer cerca de la Fortuna, como La Catarata de La Fortuna, Volcán Arenal, Termas Tabacon. Cristian estuvo en todo momento pendiente de cualquier petición. Volveríamos sin duda!

El alojamiento fue exactamente como estaba descrito. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y descansar. Estuve allí con mi familia y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo estaba impecablemente limpio. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos encantaría volver.
