Hotel vacation rentals in Monteverde

Great location, we were able to walk to everything! Emanuel was very helpful and was on the property basically all of the time so we were always able to get a hold of him. His mother, who owns a local soda, cooked breakfast for us and she was the sweetest lady. We even went to go visit her at her soda the next day! Would recommend!

Nous avons été très bien reçu par Diego et son équipe qui ont tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour et s’assurer de bâtir un programme d’activités qui répond à nos attentes et notre budget. Chaque fois que nous avions besoin d’un transport ils s’occupaient de tout et nous n’avions qu’à nous présenter à la porte à l’heure convenue. Plusieurs choix pour le petit déjeuner et c’est très bon. L’endroit est propre et bien tenu. La grande galerie est très confortable et accueillante, nous avons bien apprécié s’y installer pour lire quelques pages après une journée active, profiter de la brise et de la vue. Malheureusement, nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés lors du transport de Monteverde vers Tamarindo. Lorsque j’ai interpellé Diego pour qu’il m’aide à trouver une solution il a tout de suite pris ça en main et réglé la situation directement avec la compagnie de transport, de façon très efficace et satisfaisante. Pour l’endroit et pour le service, je recommande!

Roy was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful with great trails and a tower to watch the sunset. The hammock and the friendly dogs on the property were a nice perk! Definitely would recommend this place!

Excellent little hostel for a quick stay! I had a private bedroom with a big bed, and shared a bathroom. The place was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a few nights. The location is great, with a mini market and a variety of restaurant options nearby (Soda la Amistad was excellent). There is also a well-equipped kitchen for those that would prefer to make their own food. Jonathan communicated very well and recommended a great taxi driver for me. Would definitely recommend staying here as the value is unmatched!

We had a great stay at Camino Verde which has a central location for exploring the town. The room was cozy and the host very helpful arranging a shuttle to the Monteverde reserve. The included breakfast was much appreciated as well.

Es mejor que como se muestra en fotos! El lugar es muy tranquilo y relajante! La atención del personal súper amigable en especial Flory! Fuimos con las mascotas y fueron súper bien recibidos hasta una cama nos dieron para ellos, la vista y el atardecer desde el lugar es increíble La piscina fresca y los alrededores de zona verde lo que uno necesita para descansar

Abie’s place was just as described in a beautiful and serene location! The beds were comfortable and the patio was so peaceful to hang out at. The hotel staff was amazing and so attentive to our family! They were extremely hospitable! The amenities offered were great!

We had a great time. Very spacious home on a lot of land. Great for large groups.

Joanne and Simon are the absolute best!! They were so welcoming and warm, and made us feel so at home at their wonderful place. The place is GORGEOUS!! The pictures do not do it justice, it is even prettier in person. The room was comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and always available at 8:30am. The pool was pristine and had an incredible view. The restaurants next door were amazing, especially Bar Oropendola. Lots of cute dogs in the area, which we loved. The place was super accessible by car, and just a short walk from the lake. We were four girls staying here and we felt super safe the whole time. We couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone coming to Costa Rica! It’s a gem!!

Fui con mi hija de 11 años y nos lo pasamos genial en el alojamiento de Berenice. Es un lugar precioso para pasar unos días en La Fortuna. La habitación dispone de dos camas grandes y una pequeña terraza con hamaca privada. La zona de piscina y jacuzzi con agua caliente está genial con vistas al volcán. Hay una cocina compartida que tiene de todo además de un frigorífico privado en la habitación. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca para llegar andando y Berenice nos dio buenas recomendaciones para lugares para comer y comprar comida. Hay mucha intimidad ya que solo hay unas 8 habitaciones. Para los tours y los transfer, dimos el hotel de enfrente como sitio de recogida ya que no ofrecen recogida desde los Airbnb, pero así funcionó perfectamente. Estamos deseando volver a quedarnos en Villa Tucán, totalmente recomendable!

Great house and incredible backyard. Lots for kids to do. Comfortable for our group of 9. Easy to get from the house to everything we had planned.

Mercedes was an incredibly sweet and helpful host, she made us feel right at home from the start. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the sounds of wildlife adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s about a 15-minute drive from La Fortuna, and most tours will pick you up directly from the Airbnb, making it super convenient. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay near La Fortuna, I highly recommend this place!

El alojamiento es excelente! Las vistas al volcán son impresionantes, es de fácil acceso y siempre respondieron rápido, además de tener acceso a las termas. El entorno es un poco alejado del centro pero igual se llega fácilmente. Lo que sí, no comprar en el minimercado que sugieren cerca de allí porque no tienen casi nada, y compramos un vino que resultó estar vencido. Preferible tomarse un tiempo más e ir al centro a comprar lo necesario. El alojamiento es bellísimo, 100% recomendable

We absolutely loved our stay! It was a unique place with extremely beautiful views of the mountains. Just be mindful that it is true to “glamping” meaning you will feel a lot of wind at night, which depending on your sleeping patterns can be challenging. Also, the place is a little off the beaten path, but we loved our time and would recommend.

Un buen alojamiento, cuenta con estacionamiento y todo lo que conlleva un hostal. La ubicación es buena, por mala suerte no pudimos ver algún animalito pero es entendible.

We loved our stay! Melissa greeted us and was incredibly responsive and helpful with activities in the area. The jacuzzi was wonderful at night, and they supplied homemade bubble mix. The space inside is quite small, but was accurate to the description. We didn’t mind, as we spent much of our time exploring, hiking, and relaxing on the back porch. I would absolutely stay again!

We stayed 2 nights at Bauma. Everything was super clean and we loved the decor, outdoor patio with jacuzzi and the upstairs outdoor space which is an amazing place to have coffee and listen to the sounds of the rainforest. The host and communication was outstanding and we were even able to request a room clean. Loved the unique shower with the small view of the outdoors. It was super easy to catch an Uber for about 8 USD into La Fortuna. Whenever we do come back to this area I would 100% stay here again. It’s amazing and one of my favorite AirBnB’s :)

Buen precio y bonito entorno natural. Nos regalaron un cafecito, lo que nos ayudó mucho a iniciar nuestro día en Fortuna. Está un poco lejos del centro. Ideal ir en auto :)
