House vacation rentals in Montese

Michael greeted us on arrival and was extremely welcoming and took time to show us around his beautiful home. This was a family holiday with 6 adults and the ample space both inside and out worked perfectly for us all, we felt at home and relaxed. The whole house is extremely luxuriously and well equipped, we used the BBQ and the pizza oven both of which worked perfectly. Michael was always available to help with any questions we had and the location is perfect for day trips to Firenze, Siena etc. We enjoyed a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend Michael’s home.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

I had the most amazing experience staying at this beautiful villa in Florence. The location was perfect—peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning views that took my breath away, especially from the parking area. The villa itself was incredibly cozy and charming—so well maintained and full of character. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I’d live there if I could! The pool was a dream—relaxing, and the perfect spot to unwind with the Tuscan countryside all around you. Our host, Leonardo, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell he really cares about making guests feel at home. This place was everything I hoped for and more. I would 100% come back again. Highly recommend!

Monica was very nice and communication was easy. We had a good time. She even left the pool open for us. Unfortunately it was too cold and rainy that week but we still enjoyed the stay.

We had a wonderful time at this dream house! Magnificent views, beautiful decor and good amenities, plenty of space inside and outside, magnificent garden, great pool, friendly (few) neighbors. All round beautiful! Recreation and tranquility for the adults and play facilities by the pool for the children. The village is enchanting. The way to shopping and to Lucca is absolutely doable when you get used to the serpentines. And the path is definitely beautiful! The remoteness makes up the peculiarity & beauty of the place. Lucca is a beautiful city! Vittoria is a very kind host. Everything was easy and the contact was very pleasant at all times. We are thrilled and would like to come back!

We only stayed 3 days and unfortunately we met bad weather, but this did not stop us from taking advantage of the immense garden that with two small children was the salvation🙂 The house offers many spaces (we were two families) leaving way to have the right tranquility and privacy as needed. Alessandro was very helpful and kind and his mother, whom we met before leaving, is a very nice and friendly lady.

The perfect place to stay in Tuscany, beautiful home and gardens. We loved the views and the amazing swimming pool. The house had loads of character and was very homely and comfortable. Loved the location, not too far from Lucca and only 30 mins from Pisa airport. Andrea was a very friendly and helpful host too. Wonderful stay - thank you!

Romantic Alcova a stone's throw from the city center but with the qualities of the country house, quiet and retired. Beautiful property where we spent a week relaxing and which we used as a base to visit Pistoia and the Apennines. Mrs. Gianna is an impeccable host. I recommend it.

Comfortable and nicely appointed three bed / two bath apartment within walking distance to Luca old town. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend as an AirBNB. Host provided check-in and other information well in advance, and lots of helpful tourist advice / information about Luca and the area. Found Luca a great base to explore Tuscany.

We stayed here 3 families (6 adults and 4 children between 2 and 5 years old). we already stayed here last year and like last year, everything was great. In addition, the second bathroom was renovated this year, so both were new and modern. the host was very accommodating when booking the stay. in addition, he provided us with a third crib, on the day of arrival he allowed us an early check-in and on the day of departure allowed us a later departure, which was very appreciated by small children. every day was cleaned the pool, which we ended up using only at the beginning of the stay due to the weather. with small children we appreciated the large fenced garden.

We had a wonderful stay. Lara and her family are authentic people, of disarming kindness and simplicity. The house is very clean, cozy and equipped with every comfort, immersed in a quiet and picturesque landscape. Just a 10-minute drive to Gallicano, convenient for any need. And if you don't feel like cooking, Lara's home cooking is a must: authentic and delicious. An experience we highly recommend.

Very nice apartment located within walking distance of train station which was great for day trips to Parma and Verona. Downstairs layout is living room, kitchen, laundry room (separate washer and dryer), and bathroom. Upstairs are both bedrooms and bathroom with tub/shower combo. Bedrooms are almost identical and have closets with plenty of hangers, vanity space, a chair, end tables, and their own heat/ac system. Beautifully decorated with touches important to travelers - hooks, easily accessible outlets, soap, extra blankets and pillows. Didn’t try public busses but looked easy enough. Can also walk to city center or uber.

Beautiful, clean and well-maintained villa. Equipped with everything. Very nice and well organized outdoor green area and swimming pool. A great solution for those who want to spend time with friends and family in maximum relaxation and privacy. Very kind, helpful and nice owners. Highly recommended.

I was lucky to meet Daniela upon arrival and get to know Fllippo who helped me with every single inquiry during my stay promptly. The apartment is neat, location is good and it has everything I needed and more. It will be always my choice in Bologna. Thank you so much for everything.

A beautiful home with the most magnificent view and surroundings! Getting there: We drove SUV cars, which is reccomended as the road to the house is quite steep. Drive to the house via the small town Eglio. The house: The house is beautiful! Every room has a stunning chestnut ceiling and the interior is kept simple but elegant. It is easy to cook own meals in the lovely kitchen. Everything is clean and tidy! The owner: Due to traffical issues from Bologna, we arrived a couple of hours late, but owner of the house Richard was very kind and did not make an issue of this. Richard was also kind to reccomend a local chestnut festival which we attended. Lovely to experience local culture and food. Where to go: We used the house as a base to travel to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Pietrasanta (town for people interested in art). It is reccomended to take the train from Lucca to Florence (1½ house) and Pisa (½ hour). Easy and accessable. And the trip via the mountains to the ocean is lovely.

Very cozy and an incredible view from the terrace!

Federigo's unit 2 and 3 are suitable for large groups (there were 13 of us). Perhaps the only downside (no fault of Federigo) is the sofa bed in the living room. The units are made up of large dormitories so with little privacy. The 3 bathrooms are definitely very useful and the BBQ area must also be interesting for the summer. Great location to visit Lucca but also Florence and the Versilia. Recommended for short vacations with lots of people.

Excellent location for peace and quiet and relaxation. we were well accommodated and friendly host only added to the great experience.

Very nice, well-maintained villa with beautiful garden. A car is urgently needed, as you still have to drive up the mountain for about 15 minutes from Montecatini Terme to get to the accommodation. But it is rewarded with a stunning view. Cristina is very friendly, helpful and easy to reach. We would recommend the villa at any time.

We had a super relaxing holiday in this house with a large garden and fantastic views of the coastline! We have used the herb corners of the garden extensively. The property is fully fenced, making it ideal for dogs Our dog loved it! Also the wifi was top (home office suitable). Getting to the mountains is unproblematic, the restaurant nearby is recommended. The hosts are very likeable. I'm sure we'll be back!
