Monthly Rentals in Monterongriffoli

Stayed at Mauro’s for around 3 weeks and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The photos don’t do the place justice, it’s a beautifully traditionally decorated Tuscan farmhouse. Mauro was the perfect host, brought us figs, fresh eggs, change of sheets every week and overall was very welcoming and accommodating. If you’re visiting don’t forget to ask for his Rosso Montalcino vine which is fabulous. Naturally it is the countryside so don’t expect perfect internet, perhaps not for remote workers but during those low connection times do go out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, deers, horses and the gorgeous fields. I already miss the place, Mauro the fabulous host & I hope I’ll be able to come back one day.

Our family of 4 adults spent the past week at Frederica’s place in San Giovanni d’Assi. It was a fantastic stay and we can only say great things about the house and the hosts. The house is absolutely beautiful, better than pictured. Much character (old wooden ceilings, brick supports, beautiful floors, very light and well equipped). Lots of room for 4 and would have been for 6. Each bedroom (very nicely furnished) has its own bath and the furnishings are all top rate but not over-the-top, just very comfortable. It was too cold to use the pool but it was immaculately kept. Beautiful grounds with plenty of places to sit and read and several outdoor eating areas. The location is fantastic, within reasonable driving range of Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, etc. Great views from the property also. We highly recommend a meal cooked by Grazia (recommended by the hosts). It was superb! The hosts (mother and son) are gracious and very responsive. The house is highly reccommended.

Delightful and hospitable apartment, tidy and clean. Very helpful and kind owner. Very nice view from the bedroom window of the green Tuscan hills I highly recommend it for a visit to the most beautiful places in the Val d'Orcia

Great rustic farm stay in the heart of Tuscany. Close drive to Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza. Also the local neighborhood and restaurants and shops are great! Andrea was a wonderful host and provided great recommendations, also eating at their restaurant was lovely. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. Please know that this is a working farm and noise and bugs are normal!
