Thanks to Roberto for his exquisite hospitality in his beautiful lake-view villa, with a wonderful garden that will remain forever in the heart of our little dog (and ours). Absolutely comfortable accommodation equipped with everything you need, and even more, to spend a very pleasant holiday on Lake Trasimeno and its surroundings full of tourist attractions of all kinds to satisfy even the most demanding tourist. By far one of the best places we have ever stayed. Almost surreal how beautiful this space is, and the surrounding property is almost too beautiful to describe. Silvia is certainly a top tier host, and her attention to detail is second to none. We are already planning a return trip. If you want to get away from it all, and never have to leave a property ( except to grab more wine), this is the place. But if you want venture out, many top attractions are less than hour drive away. The Lake views alone are worth the trip.

Villa la Cotogna is an absolute gem. Our group of six stumbled upon this Airbnb listing while we were planning our trip to Italy and we are so happy we did. It is very rare Airbnb listing photos match the actual property, but I can guarantee the physical property was even more beautiful than the listing photos. A true definition of "a photo can not capture what the human eye sees." The team behind Villa La Cotogna were very communicative from the initial booking to the very last day we checked out. They were very accommodating to all of our questions, requests and always so kind! Not only does this villa offer amazing onsite activities and amenities, they also offer off site activities for an extra fee. It was very easy to ask our host to book reservations for us as well. This property is truly a great place for a family or group of friends. Peaceful, charming, unbeatable views and still close to all the wonderful towns nearby. We are hoping to come back in the summer! :)
