Apartment vacation rentals in Monte Testaccio

We really enjoyed our stay at Francesca’s beautiful apartment. First time in Testaccio, lots of great restaurants (reserve where possible), excellent cafe/bakeries/gelato/markets within a few short blocks without the crowds and mayhem of Trastevere, Centro or the Colosseum areas which are easily reached on foot or by conviennent bus routes using credit card tap-in.

This was my first Airbnb in Italy as I usually stay in hotels. The apartment , located in an old building in the Testaccio neighborhood is on the top floor and is clean and modern with good air conditioning and a rooftop view. This is one of the best foodie neighborhoods in Rome with the nearby market, and venerable restaurants such as Bucatino (great cacio pepe) and Piatto Romano (amazing carbonara, fried baby artichokes , great wine list). You are walking distance from Trastevere with its lively bars and restaurants. This apartment is new and clean and Andrea is very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended! I'll come back soon hopefully!

Truly one of the greatest airbnbs we have ever stayed in! It was incredibly clean, spacious and we felt right at home. Location was perfect and safe — not loud or too busy and extremely close to the tram to go sight seeing and into the centre of the city (very quick tram ride too!) Local cafes, restaurants and bars just steps away from the apartment. Chiara was an amazing host — quick to respond, allowed us to check in early, sent us many local recommendations and tips right after we checked in and was quick to respond to any questions we had! I highly recommend staying at Chiaras airbnb, we will definitely be back!!

Great apartment, and easy to walk to a lot of the neighborhood restaurants. The host was very easy to work with and responded in a timely manner!

We had a great stay and will definitely do it again! The place is extremely clean, quiet, a lot of space including for your clothes. The bathroom is in excellent condition, the bed is big and very comfortable, the building really nice and you have the bus and tram downstairs + the train is not far - very reactive and kind hosts as well, we couldn’t have asked for more! The check out was easy and they agreed to give us an extra hour in the morning, very much appreciated. I highly recommend it, it’s not easy to find a perfect place like this is Roma. Thanks a lot, we had the best 2 years anniversary!

Very nice apartment in a pleasant and quiet residential area with great local restaurants. The place was exactly as described and like the photos. Carlo was super responsive and polite and a very helpful host. Absolutely no complaints and I would definitely recommend a stay here. There is also a lovely classic Roman restaurant downstairs, Massandro, which is a bonus.

Un apartamento sencillo y bien cuidado, decorado con gusto y con lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Buena accesibilidad al transporte público, bus enfrente de la casa, y metro a pocos minutos a pie. Se llega en poco tiempo a los sitios de interés. Muchas facilidades cerca: supermercados, farmacia, estanco, variedad de restaurantes, heladerías... Zona animada y a la vez segura. Destacaría la facilidad de llegada desde Fiumicino. Los dueños atentos y amables, dejaron detalles de bienvenida como agua, te y pastas. Los puntos de mejora que destacaría son: algún mueble más en el baño para dejar las bolsas de aseo, algún cuchillo de cocina que corte bien. Lo recomiendo 100% y volveríamos a alojarnos allí.

Gianmarco was an incredible host - met us at the apartment even though we arrived very late at night and gave us great local recommendations. Apartment was exactly as pictured and incredibly clean. In particular loved the balcony! Would definitely stay again

非常愉快的入住体验，房东的女儿到路口接我们，房东给我们准备了非常充足的毛巾，矿泉水，零食和咖啡，非常亲切和好沟通的一家人。 房源很棒，和照片一样，非常干净，床非常舒服，所有设备维护都很好。社区很安静，邻居也会很友善的打招呼。交通便利，一只脚就可以走到咖啡馆和超市，周围有很多很棒的餐厅，意大利本地人的生活氛围。去主要的景点大概2公里，我们一般是步行去，坐出租车回来，出租车的价格是20欧元以内。公交车和轻轨也很方便，但是我们没来得及探索。希望有机会再次入住！

Alojamiento muy bueno, algo alejado del centro turístico. Barrio muy tranquilo, con un mercado cerca y bastantes restaurantes locales. El alojamiento es muy cómodo y amplio. Lo encontramos muy limpio. La anfitriona responde rápido y muy amable. Volvería a repetir sin dudas.

We had a great stay in Abrahin's accomodation. He has been really attentive, friendly and helpful, he came to greet us face to face and introduced us some local restaurants. The accomodation is very clean and it comes with literally everything that made life easier with a 7 month old baby. Abrahin kindly prepared baby high chair, sippy cup, baby cot, blankets, pillows and even got us a baby bathtub upon request! The kitchen has everything in it to prepare baby food etc. The accomodation also came with a washer dryer which is so convenient when you have kids or babies. The accomodation is so clean that we had no problem letting our baby crawl on the floor. The place is big enough for kids to run around too. This accomodation is located not too far from all the attraction places, though you have to walk about 15-20mins to arrive attraction places, this accomodation is located in a perfect quiet area, perfect for good rest and sleep and it's not too far from the metro station. Highly rec.

My mom had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating—she felt very welcomed from the start. Everything was explained clearly, which made her stay easy and comfortable. The location was also perfect, close to everything she needed. Overall, the hosts were truly lovely and made her feel right at home. We’re very grateful and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful apartment, well appointed with everything needed for our 7 day stay. Great location, walked to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain,Colosseum, Forum, and Capitoline Museums. Taxi Stand 200 meters from apartment ( Vatican & Museums) Many cafes’ and eateries and shops. Mergarita was most helpful in dining recommendations and even found us a reservation for a Mother’s Day dinner on short notice! The best experience!

This was an OUTSTANDING stay, and I cannot wait to come back!!! After staying here, I will never stay in a different area when returning. The apartment was absolutely pristine. Very luxurious and quiet, yet right in the center of the Roma experience!!! I definitely hope to return! I couldn’t have loved it more. We were also fortunate enough to get early check-in! Marina and Marco are awesome hosts! Their house is AMAZING! Perfectly described, beautifully decorated, and the location is perfect – so close to all the Trastevere restaurants. We walked tons. Our daughter loved the bathtub. The house feels futuristic with that awesome automatic blackout system. I hope to be back soon.

Fabio was a great host. I let him know that it was our 25th anniversary and he gave me multiple recommendations of restaurants to go to for a nice anniversary dinner. He even left a little gift for us. If I ever find myself back in Rome, I'd definitely stay there again.

Ottimo appartamento moderno e rifinito con tutte le comodita'. Un grande balcone, cucina completa, letto molto confortevole, ed una zona centrale ma allo stesso tempo silenziosa in una strada residenziale con buone possibilita' di parcheggio libero, che a Roma e' abbastanza raro. Da ex residente di Roma, questo appartamento e' un compromesso ideale come posizione ed efficenza, sembra di stare a casa.

Lovely room, perfect for us, great location. Plenty of restaurants and places to go around the area and walking distance of anywhere you want to go in Rome really. Really comfortable bed and jacuzzi was a lively feature to have in the bedroom. The view from the apartment is beautiful especially at sunset.

Excellent penthouse apartment, beautifully furnished with an amazing large terrace that offers peaceful rooftop views over Rome. The location is perfect for exploring the Colosseum area as it’s only a 5 min walk. The apartment is also beside the Cavour underground train station which makes connections and travel around Rome really simple. We will certainly like to book again next time we visit Rome. Alberto and the host team is extremely responsive and helpful making the experience seamless.
