Great place for our group of 8. A unique and well appointed house. It had everything we needed and the hot tub was a nice treat! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

Second time staying at the Derby Lodge, and we had a blast. Had unseasonably good weather on Friday and really enjoyed the screened in porch. The rest of the trip was cooler, but the kids played games the entire weekend. Big plus to have the hot tub and ping pong to keep everyone occupied. Would definitely stay again.

The home was absolutely beautiful as were the views of the lake from the covered porch. My family stayed there for our summer vacation and loved our stay. Between the lake, pool, rec room games and other amenities we felt right at home and never felt like we had to leave the property. We would definitely look to stay again in the future.

Loved the decor, highlighting Crystal and the past. Great nostalgia! Wonderful beach and great neighborhood. Great place for family with plenty of sleeping room for all.

Great view, quiet and peaceful

This place is so beautiful! We had a family get together, and the house was just amazing! It had three nice big bedrooms with plenty of room for the entire family. There was a big game room downstairs, and toys for the kids. Big, beautiful windows in the kitchen to look out on the lake in the cold weather. The beds were so nice, and everything was set up beautifully! There was even a gigantic Christmas tree set up in the living room. Talk about cozy, we wanted to stay there forever! We will be back!

Brandie is amazing and so is her house. The surroundings are beautiful and a great place to relax and take in the sights. The lake is fantastic!! Brandie is an amazing host and is always responsive to anything we needed. She gave us plenty of places around to try and things we could go see while we were at her place. Thank you again for being the greatest host! Your place is The greatest!

My family throughly enjoyed celebrating the holiday here. It was so peaceful and beautiful once the snow began falling. The kitchen was huge enough to have our entire dinner spread on the island, and the dishwasher came in great handy. Our only complaint was the beds were extremely firm. My fiancé actually enjoyed this, but myself and my parents, not so much. But the place was spotless and the hosts were kind and responsive. Thank you again.

This was such a cute little lake house. It was well kept - very clean and neat. We were in the area for a wedding and this was a perfect spot to call home for the weekend. The area was beautiful with the fall foliage and the lake was crystal clear. It was such a nice location - definitely a spot to get some much needed R&R. The house has a great backyard to sit under the string lights, have a campfire, play yard games, or enjoy the lake. We visited during October so it was chillier in the mornings, but we were able to enjoy the sunshine and great views in the afternoon. The hosts were fantastic. They were super responsive and very friendly. They offer a lot of amenities such as campfire supplies and boat rentals. The reclining sofas were a nice touch and were great for putting our feet up at the end of the day. There were also board games and some kids activities too. I wish we had a few more days to take advantage and enjoy some more of the lake life. We will have to come back!

Matt’s place was amazing. Far exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend to anyone looking to getaway on the lake. We rented a boat which was very convenient as well. Matt has everything you could need for you to use on the water. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great time. The hosts were very communicative. The lake was great for fishing, boating, and tubing. The wifi had a strong signal which was great for remote work. We really enjoyed our stay and were happy to have found a place on short notice that was pet friendly.

Turk Lake was the perfect spot for our long weekend visiting for my father's funeral. It was beautiful! I had read the reviews of the place so I came forewarned about the slanted floors and spotty wifi. The view was stunning + much fun could be had here with the kayaks and water toys. We had no time to "dive in" to that with family duties for the weekend, so we just enjoyed the view. The restaurant next door served us well for dinner, drinks, & breakfast. The gas station convenience store up the road supplied all else we needed for the long weekend. Wifi didn't show up at first + the name was unexpected, but it worked. It took some effort to get the TV to work but we did succeed--loose cable probably. Kitchen was clean + had all we needed. Love the vintage sink--wow! Slanty floors provided merriment as we looked at how the remodel had worked around the slant. Beds comfy though lack of solid doors meant no "business time" in bedroom. Shower may be too small for robust person.

We highly recommend Anne’s place in Crystal! It was very comfortable and relaxing. It was clean and tastefully decorated with a lake theme. It was the perfect place to chill for a week with family and friends. Her kitchen was wonderfully stocked with all the tools you needed in great working condition for big family meals. The views were great and the lake was clean and literally right outside our door. The multiple level unit made for lots of privacy but it was more difficult for the toddler and elderly. My only real warning about Anne’s place would be that if you have small children, both porches require someone to be watching little one’s 100% of the time. The upper patio rail is easy to climb and slightly low and the water level patio slants slightly toward the water. However, both porches were perfect for the rest of us with plenty of seating, swings, floaties, and a gorgeous lake view!

Loved the place! It was cozy & decorated so cute! We were looking for a peaceful, serene place & this is it! The price was affordable which was a factor for us. Kayaking around the lake was really fun. It was the perfect meeting place for two friends traveling from different states. Carrie had bought us 2 things that we mentioned we were looking forward to, which was SO very kind.

The place was as described. Nice home. Nice backyard with fire pit and plenty of chairs. The TV inside was great for my friends and I to play Jack Box on. The host was very responsive.

Our stay at the A-frame cabin was truly beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was so cozy, and we loved watching the fall colors change around us. Going kayaking was a perfect addition to the experience. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was incredibly responsive. There was a little migration of ladybugs, but it didn’t impact our stay at all. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and we’d absolutely recommend it!

Sherri couldn't have been kinder! It was great to find the driveway and walkway shoveled and clear when we arrived in the evening after a long drive. The place was perfect for entertaining a variety of family over the Christmas holiday!

2nd year for our group ..We had a great time, and we always enjoy the party barn. If i had any critiques, it would be nice to have a few more trash bags on hand. Great hosts and highly recommend.
