Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Montcalm County

We are return guests and hope to make it a regular thing. The home was perfect to hang out with friends gathered from all directions. Just like being at home, but no one has the pressure of hosting and everyone pitches in to make light work. Nathan is a top notch host and I hope he welcomes my crew again and again.

This was such a wonderful stay celebrating family getting married. The location was beautiful and Andy was a super welcoming host. Offered a pontoon rental that was such a great deal as well! Totally recommend if you're looking for a spacious relaxing stay.

The check-in process was easy. The property was easy to find everything was very clean. There was plenty of linens and dishes. And the best part was that as an avid coffee drinker, I had forgotten to bring coffee to the property, but Soren came in clutch and had a full variety of coffee and creamers. She saved the whole weekend for me. We even forgot something after we left the property and we were able to go back and get it no problem. She is very responsive.

Doug’s place is nice. No problems with anything. House was clean! It’s a very quiet area. Area businesses close early. No shopping or gas stations close. Very secluded area which is nice to get away from all the noise. Loved sitting on the front porch swing watching the sun rise. Only downside was a nosey neighbor who creeped us out a little lol.

The location of this Stanton, MI lakefront home was perfect for our needs. It was beautiful, peaceful, and the surroundings were well-maintained. The farm fresh eggs were an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

This place met our needs perfectly. We were looking for somewhere my 80+ parents could navigate easily, and this was it. We didn't have young children with us, but there were so many things they would like as well. Excellent setting for family members of all ages to spend time together.

We went here for a birthday weekend with plans to attend Hippiefest, which was also great with lots of vendors, good music and lots of food truck options. The house was beautiful, access to the boat was unreal, and being pet friendly was a huge plus. They communicated very well and were friendly definitely would recommend to a friend! What amazing weekend!

Doug was very responsive both before and after booking. The home was easy to find and as described in the listing. The only thing missing were batteries in the TV remote, which the host would have had no way of knowing they were missing. It was NO PROBLEM at all as there is a Dollar General nearby. We appreciated that it is a pet friendly listing and even our dog felt right at home. :) Would not hesitate to book this home again.

Had a great stay here on the lake. Definitely would recommend for anybody looking in the area.

Very cute little cabin, definitely have to be friendly with who you stay with lol. Overall had everything that you need! Lots of seasonings, pots & pans, and just nice overall. Would definitely recommend!

My stay at freshwater vacations was a little rocky at first due to the weather, but they did everything in their power to make sure that I had a great vacation. The place was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. There’s so much room for a big family. We loved the backyard with the grill the dock and they also provided kayaks. It was a perfect peaceful getaway for me and my family. They also responded so quickly and we’re very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody we can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great first Airbnb experience! Jennifer was an excellent host- excellent communication, friendly and helpful. The house was great- very clean, comfortable furniture, well appointed kitchen, nice counter space and storage in the main bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

We actually had the privilege of meeting carol and her family during our stay, they were incredible sweet and very helpful. The campground was full of extremely friendly people as well ( mostly regulars who had permanent campsites) there is the most adorable couple who have been there for 44 years that make a nightly routine of ringing a bell to let all the campers know that they are giving out free ice cream !!! This place is amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend it to anyone looking for a great summer getaway! The lake is beautiful !

We had such a great time at Pamela’s lake house! It was the perfect escape for a long weekend. The home was cozy, super clean, and had everything we needed to just unwind. Our dog came along and absolutely loved it too. We spent our evenings in the hot tub. The house had tons of games and little touches that made it feel really welcoming. Pamela was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It’s clear she really cares about the guest experience. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with the option to bring your pup along. We’d definitely come back!

Exactly as described. Had a comforting older home grandma feel. All the furniture was comfortable. Loved the recliners! Loved the foos ball, fireplace thingy in the basement, deck, outdoor fire pit and the wildlife! Had some frustration with the heating system. Theres a weird mix and match heating system with no written instructions on how to control the heating. There is no air conditioning at all which made for some discomfort on days it reached the 50s. Enjoyed our stay! Home was really clean! Love that bedding and furniture was not white!

The Geodome was an absolute utopia! Didn’t have to go anywhere else. We felt right at home and had plenty of outdoor activities to do. Beautiful view of Sandybottom Lake from the front deck, hot tub in the backyard by the fire pit, kayaks and dock access were ideal on the lake. Would absolutely stay again. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful place with friendly and responsive hosts. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment, and do I mean fully! Crockpot, food processor, toaster, waffle, makers, utensils, cookware, dining ware, you name it! On-site laundry was fantastic and easy to use. Kayaking and hot tubbing was fantastic! Our family loved the space and the privacy we felt was there. It was perfect and peaceful! Would highly recommend.

I couldn’t say enough good things about this house. We had 13 girls stay here for a bachelorette party and everyone was comfortable and happy. They have everything you forgot at home somewhere available to you, and it’s all clearly labeled and easy to find. I’ve never seen a lake more peaceful, definitely recommend adding in the pontoon for your stay and just coast the lake. The giant windows looking out to the lake were so beautiful. The surroundings and home itself make for some beautiful memories and cute pictures for any weekend get away. The lake it very very quiet and there isn’t too much going on, which is exactly the way I like to spend my time. We’ve already discussed wanting to make this a yearly event.

This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

Felt Like Home! We stayed at this beautiful lake house over Memorial Day weekend and had an amazing time. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed—it truly felt like our own home. Whether relaxing indoors or enjoying the view, every moment was peaceful and perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
