Chalet Salamandre

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

We really enjoyed our stay with Amy and Duncan! It's a beautiful place, really peaceful with gorgeous views, and it was so nice to have the pool! Duncan and Amy were very friendly hosts - we felt right at home :) It's an ideal location if you have a car and you want to travel around a bit - within an hour or two of a drive there are lots of places to see and things to do - castles, caves, mountains, lovely towns with beautiful old buildings. We would definitely go back here, and will be recommending it to our friends!

Very well located accommodation for visiting the surroundings and for swimming. Spacious for a family of 5 with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Games, books, dvd available. The church bell is surprising at first because it's right next door, but you get used to it quickly.

A modern bathroom features a glass shower enclosure and a sleek vanity with storage drawers. A washing machine is positioned next to the shower, while neutral-colored tiles cover the floor. A circular mirror with integrated lighting enhances the overall bright and clean appearance.

here is a very nice apartment... it is complete and well arranged. it is perfect for staying in Rennes le château, this mysterious village.. full of legend.. there are 2 restaurants in the village of shops. but no grocery store. the view from the viewpoints is exceptional on the adjacent valleys. again thank you for Sylvie's welcome.

We had a wonderful week’s stay here, and it was possibly the cleanest airbnb we have ever stayed in. We spent a week here in January, and the heating was on when we arrived and was warm and toasty inside which was wonderful. The views from the house were amazing - a clear view of the Château de Coustaussa, Rennes le Chateau, and the snow capped mountains of the Pyrenees in the distance. The outdoor terrace was a real bonus when the sun shone and we had our lunch out there and took in the view. This place is an absolute gem!
