Traveling is always a meeting: of a place, and also of people. At the hen house you check both boxes. The place is very beautiful, very peaceful. The large building has been renovated with great care, stone walls and exposed beams. It's really beautiful. And so, it is also meeting Bruno, who first of all takes care of his visitors, hosting, good products to share, and also very open to interact with you. It was a real pleasure for us to stop (couple with 19-month-old child, and a dog ;-)) on the way back from our vacation. See you soon, the hen house.

We spent 3 days there and it was just magical. A remarkable welcome of attention, advice and kindness. You immediately feel like family. High quality homemade breakfast and evening meal with great value for money. A magical place as much for its beauty and calm as for the authentic building and chic decor. A park shaded by many trees and a pool surrounded by fragrant grasses. The ceramic artistic creations are also very inspiring and creative. The location is perfect for discovering the region, which is also superb for its resemblance to Tuscany. We'll be back, that's for sure! Thank you.

We stayed with Louis and his wife on the night of our wedding because their guesthouse is located in the immediate vicinity of the party room. We loved the house and the homemade breakfast with love. These hosts were very attentive and accommodating when we arrived at the property late. We knew Varennes and the surroundings but we were able to enjoy the view and the house full of charm. Congratulations on the work done, it's beautiful. We have already decided to come back for our one-year wedding to enjoy the place more 🥰

We where looking for a historical place near Toulouse with personality and easy access. The place was clean and fragrant and the owners were genuinely hospitable. Definitely worth to recommend.

Not only is the restoration of the building and its exterior splendid, but beyond that Jean Michel is a caring host, and we were able to have a pleasant conversation with him. Martine was a great person to stay with. She went above and beyond with how she handled my stay. She was in constant communication before I arrived. I dont speak French but she knew enough English that everything worked out fine. Her house is small but size doesn't matter. She made it very welcoming and was an amazing host. The whole place was clean and was exactly what I needed. There were a lot of guests but everyone got along. She took the extra steps to offer a few meals for me so everyone wasn't cluttering up the kitchen at once. Her listing was perfect for what I needed. I recommend staying with her as she was a nice host and her home was just great.
