The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. Cottage in the town of Montapas, at the gates of Morvan. At the edge of two ponds (swimming with MNS and fishing), you can enjoy the calm of the countryside. Nearby, Chatillon-en-Bazois will welcome you for its shops and its castle surrounded by the Nivernais Canal. 30 minutes from Morvan, with its lakes and rivers. For food lovers, you can visit the cellars of the Loire Valley in 45 minutes (Sancerre/Pouilly).

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Want nature, countryside in a bucolic and warm setting? So welcome between woods & bocage! 🌳🌳🌳 The house, with a cozy atmosphere, has a large garden on the edge of the forest with a beautiful panorama of the Nièvre bocage. For your comfort, linens (sheets, towels, bath mats, tea towels) are included in the price and the beds are made upon arrival. We provide our house with all the amenities and elements that make it up inside and outside (BBQ, sunbathing, ping-pong table, petanque balls, etc.) Ideal for a stay with family or friends. You will be alone there. No neighbors and therefore not overlooked.
